i've tried using both chrome and firefox to no avail, and IE is simply... not an option. this used to happen sometimes, but i could always reset it somehow by signing in and then out. not anymore, it simply will not let me click any email, link on the page or navigate to any other folder. needless to say i need my emails so this sucks. all my java/browser/flash crap is up to date so i dunno, what do you guys think

often when I sign into hotmail, it won't let me click on anything. but if I just click in the address bar, hit enter, reloading the page, it works. I'm sure you've probably tried it but that's always worked for me so far

I mean... I know you say IE isn't an option, but are you on Windows? It's still there anyway. You might as well see if it works.

    Clear cookies maybe?

Hotmail had a minor update yesterday, so it could be that getting the page loaded completely freshly might help.

Hotmail works with email clients like Thunderbird and Outlook right? You can try using one of those clients.
