Yeah, if you have Ep 1 and 2 it's a good idea to get them.

Ok, now I can join but it disconnects me due to "Invalid Steam user ID ticket".

Curly seems to think it may be because I have not gone through the steam login validation process recently, but I have no idea how to force it.

Vic, try renaming steam\config\ to steam\config_\

That will cause steam to have to re-validate and should allow you to connect. If something screws up, just delete the new config folder and rename the old one.

Shows Curly in the game, but trying to join the game in progress just gets an invalid server.

Don't see anybody I recognize on the public list either.

there's a workaround if you can't get into the server

open the console then type in

connect 173.73.113.42:27015

yeah, the server's not up right now

we got a solid 4 hours of co-op in, though

had a peak of 9 people playing at a time

and we finished HL2!

install the episodes, next session we'll be playing those

it was named penny-arcade shenanigans, but it's not up right now. i usually change the thread title to indicate when a game is going on.
