This Thread is Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
The IMF is shut down when it's implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization's name. No help, no contact, off the grid.
So Qmark and I saw this movie yesterday and loved it. It's not Brad Bird's best film and it has a few problems, but it's the best Mission: Impossible film yet, has the best action scenes of any film that has come out this year, and is a shitload of fun. Also when you see it, make sure you see it in IMAX. A lot of the scenes were filmed with IMAX cameras and the images are ridiculous, especially the Burj Khalifa sequence.
how did it take like less than a century to go from einstein and picasso to a hollywood blockbuster based on the popular boardgame Battleship™ starring rihanna?
i nominate 21st century for the worst of all the centuries so far.

I saw this on Wednesday. It's kind of a good movie combined with a bad Tom Cruise vanity project.

that video proves that Tom Cruise runs in movies more than any other actor. He runs so damn much
I noticed it when I watched The Firm the other day. He has this running form that is very short and jerky that makes it seem like he is incredibly fast

man
the battleship movie is gonna be way more fun than an ugly picasso painting
Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots was pretty good, I heard. Haven't seen it yet. Probably going to rent it when it hits Redbox.
I am generally a fan of neither Tom Cruise nor crazy hyped up action movies, but I may give this a shot. If I like it I will probably go back and watch the rest.

hey whoa there. not everything about the 21st century is awful.
Wait, are you saying that Snooki isn't awful?
I have my doubts
the second was so... dumb? overblown? i didn't bother to see the third
I enjoyed MI 1 and 3, have not seen 2
I would not like to see the Dark Knight Rises
When you drift, if you're not out of control, you're not in control. *Car drifts by* Still need a dictionary?
But in retrospect... Masks? Kicking guns out of sand? All that slow motion? What the fuuuck?
Yeah.
And he's gonna be Jack Reacher.
Tom Cruise the scrawny short guy is going to play Jack Reacher, a gorilla wearing a man suit.
Jack Reacher is basically a superhero trapped in the wrong genre
Stop setting the world to wrong.
(I love the Reacher series but what does that even mean?)

Well there's an old saying, "Setting things to rights" which I am guess that phrase is an inversion of.

He also lands on his face a lot
High five!
The only way I will see Dark Knight Rises is if 1) I am drunk, and 2) the homeless guy in our theater that narrated Dark Knight is there again.
your = belonging to you
their = belonging to them
there = not here
they're = they are
