I've read a fair amount about Diplomacy and it seems like something I'd like to try out. I know this game is full, but if there's enough interest for a second game I'd like to get in on that. If not, I'm game for waiting for the next round (if there is one).
Good luck in your upcoming conflict of European proportions!

I read through the rules since it's been a while since playing this game, and I'm still a little unclear on some things.
1) Do convoy orders take 2 turns? What I mean is, is it one turn to move your army onto the fleet, and then another to move it to it's final location?
2) When can you start making new armies at supply centers?
3) Can fleets support each other?
1) No. A convoy is just like a support. You order the fleet to convoy the army at a to b, and you tell the army to move from a to b.
2) You take control of a supply center at the end of the year. Right after control changes are resolved, you then balance out the number of units you have (either disbanding or building). You can only build in your home supply centers, though.
3) A unit can support any other unit moving to anywhere it can move. So a fleet can support another fleet, an army can support an army, a fleet can support an army or vice versa if it is a coastal land territory.

So, you can only have as many units as you have supply centers, and you can only build in your home centers?

From wikipedia
After each Fall move, previously uncontrolled supply centers become owned by the occupying player, and each power's supply center total is recalculated. At that point players with fewer supply centers than units on the board must disband units, while players with more supply centers than units on the board are entitled to build units. Units may only be built in that player's "Home" centers, that is, those centers with which each Great Power begins the game. Therefore, a player may not build units in any captured "neutral" center or in another player's "Home" centers.
You can have fewer units than supply centers if you are forced to retreat a unit and it cannot move anywhere or if you were unable to build all you could last fall. But you can't have more units than supply centers.
Also, I think the wikipedia article meant "after each Fall move, newly occupied supply centers become owned by the occupying player", because you don't have to continue to occupy a center after you take it, and you can take centers from other plays.

Somebody asked if you can change orders after you've sent them. You may change orders as many times as you want until the deadline, as long as you send a complete set of orders every time.
As everyone knows, I knew the old passwords to all the gmail accounts. Now, say I didn't tell anyone about this (I did because I am a good Christian man) and went about secretly reading everyone's orders and whatnot. Would this be considered cheating? It seems like it wouldn't technically cheating, but a bitch movie anyway.

It would be cheating, because you would know of other alliances and such.

Spring 1901 - Movement
I thought they were due Friday?
Good luck in your upcoming conflict of European proportions!
Uh, since I was vague, I'll say it's due in around 36 hours, that is, Friday at 11:59 PM EST.
Sorry for the vagueness. The second move order will be due two days later, Sunday at 11:59 PM EST.

How do check our inbox for outlook? (I'm not a fan of Outlook)
I know, sounds retarded.
...that WAS retarded.
These are gmail accounts. You go to gmail.com, log in using the password I PMed you, and make sure it isn't forwarding to RBB.
Seriously guys.
Maybe it would be a good idea to make it in OD&M. It'll probably get pushed off the page in SE.
Mind if I rip off your OP, bOrifice?
Knock yourself out.
Oh, I thought they were going to be resolved at noon. That lessens the anticipation.

Alright.
...what?
