Welp, now I'm just waiting on RO2 to install, and then depending on if I want to pick up Anomaly (I definitely do, I don't even know why I keep waffling on this since it's been on my wishlist for fucking ever) and/or EDGE before the end of the sale.
Still waiting because they weren't daily deals or anything.
Hey, before the Thanksgiving sale, I had less than 20 friends. Just broke 100. As for calling the cops, that's very appropriate, as I plan to Pay some Days in a couple hours here... With my FRIENDS!
I'd like to confirm what some of you already know...@Gaslight is one class SOB. I just went to pick up my copy of Payday from a 4 pack and realized he'd sent me the STALKER bundle! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

For those playing Max Payne for the first time, there are also a ton of cool mods that add nice graphical features and shiny things without making the game trivial. Love those games. I spent hours just freezing time and moving the camera around in massive firefights to take cool screenshots.
Can I get an invite to the PA steam group? I've joined some of the game specific groups, but I guess I never got around to joining the main one. Thanks!
Well I fit the bill on a couple of those at least. Never played X-Com, but have heard interesting things.... Throwing my ticket in the virtual fishbowl.

What are the best of the best that I should be looking at?
Massive thanks to @Forar, @bullio and @shogun for the help with Payday cheevo. I'd have stuck around for more than that single round but I keep getting called away so I wanna milk as many of these achievements as ppossible.
If you are cool with a game full of QTE and a couple simple puzzles and really like JP then you'll have a good time with the game. That's pretty much the boat I was in, and the setpiece moments feel all sorts of awesome when you pull them off.
I'm currently visiting family, so I'm not really taking part of the glorious holiday Steam thread yet, but I just wanted to pop in and say that @Ketar is a super classy gent for gifting me a copy of Payday! Heists will certainly be had when I return.
Gaaaaaaah. Neverwinter Nights 2 on sale like I was hoping for, but that Stalker bundle is looking so good right now too.

Is it weird to feel bad about entering steamgifts giveaways for things I don't really, really, reallyreallyreally want?
I mean, I have all these points, right, and they keep going up, so I feel like I'm wasting them if I let them build up to steamgifts' cap. But at the same time, there are all these games that I'm kindasorta but not entirely enthusiastic about that I think someone else might get a bigger kick out of owning, even if the cost of same ownership can be measured in single digits of bagels.

Seeing as I didn't get many bites (probably cause everyone already has this), I made a giveaway. Hopefully someone will want this. I'd hate to see such a great game go to waste in my Steam inventory....

I just looked at the Ship for the first time; is it the video game equivalent of Clue?
it's like the IRL Assassins game. At the start of a match, everyone is assigned a random target. You get points for killing your target (then take their target as your next) and lose points for killing anyone that isn't your target or your assassin.
I thought it was pretty fun, but it had like zero community even when it was new.

The trouble with great giveaways like that is so many of us already own it.
Some people actually enjoy AaAAaAAA!, for what it's worth
And one day we'll have medication for just that sort of thing
I enjoy Aaaaaaaa, but if you just start it up JUST for their poorly conceived achievement events, you're going to hate the game. Especially if you're trying to do them without any abilities unlocked.
Guys I know you like to talk about your dumb indie/casual games but I have a real man's question about a serious game.
So like.. if I was going to get a Bookworm Adventures game should I just get the second one and skip the first? I want whichever will give me the most play time out of it. I played the demo for the first one a long time ago but could never make myself spend money on it, but I want to make some words and get loots.

Okay, that sounded less creepy in my head...

Background notes; I really like the movie.
And dinosaurs, I guess.
And videogames.

It's more like where Assassin's Creed stole it's multiplayer from.
Remind me to gift it to you when you accept.

Which means it goes to @nerdtendo. I'll send it to you shortly!
Edit: I'll send it when I've seen the friend invite has gone through.
Edit2: Sent, hopefully it works and steam doesn't gobble it up.
