Got the "Let it Glow" achievement in Fate of the World. Wasted so much time at first because I didn't realize a territory needed 4th gen nuclear plants to launch nukes.
Everyone is saying EYE is great, but the metacritic review says 60. If I do a contest for EYE will that be acceptable to you, my brothers? Or is there really not that much interest? Hate to gift shitty games.

To be upfront, they're very light. There is questing, where various people give you quests to do (go kill X, return). There are shops for buying weapon upgrades. There's armor. And there are vehicles that can be heavily upgraded and customized. Oh, and you can craft items and such.
It's really pretty good, but a lot of people were expecting MORE RPG elements, like Borderlands, so it got a lot of backlash. For what it is, it's quite good, I think.

ok. I knew I remembered people saying it wasn't as heavily like borderlands so the rpg comment threw me a bit. Don't worry I'm still intrigued by the game.

I sure will! Might be my next RTS after I finish Age of Empires 3. I also did pick up StarCraft 2 during the Amazon BF sale though, so I have decisions to make.
EYE might be a Steamgifts contest, I don't know just yet. My vacation starts today so I won't be able to keep up with the thread after I leave work, where I do most of my posting.

Borderlands is first person Diablo with guns. That's really the best description.
Randomly generated guns that look all unique and have stats like fire rate, accuracy (how wildly from the reticle it varies), power, reload speed, zoom, and elemental effect (like fire, ice, electricity, or explosions on impact). Gun types like SMGs, revolvers, machine pistols, assault rifles, shot guns, rocket launchers, sniper rifles, etc. plus four classes that have unique class skills like building turrets, going into RAGE PUNCHY mode, or phasing into invisibility and exploding everything around you as you do so.
If you're a sucker for loot, it's amazing. Up to 4 player co-op. good times.

Not that I could ever be bothered to do this but technically is there anything stopping you from opening 50 steam accounts and getting all the 'free' steam achievements in the hopes you win a game to trade to your real account?
I think you need to have a game to activate before its counted as a real steam account? Thats why people were buying the HIB for 1 cent and doing it.
And only trusted accounts are allowed to trade. Not sure about gifts though. Trusted accounts are accounts that owns a legitimate purchased game for 90 days. If you create an new account you can't trade for 90 days.
Only gifts that are purchased on trusted accounts can be traded immediately; otherwise there is a 90-day cool down before the gift can be traded. Any account that has made any valid purchase from the Steam Store more than 90 days ago is considered trusted. This is to ensure that all games traded are valuable, and help prevent fraudulent purchases for the purpose of trades.
This means if you do win something you have to wait 90 days before you can gift it to your main account. Of course no one is stopping you to use the account when you win the motherload.

Its a good game obviously ported from consoles.
You want to bump mouse sensitivity all the way up and use your kb to move around.
But it's a great game.
Solid game, terrible PC port seemed to be the consensus.
