As much as I want Skyrim, $40 is too rich for my blood right now.. The same with Saints Row the Third from the other day. I've already received so many games that they should last me until the next sale. However I will be getting myself that Humble Indie Bundle. It also seems like DX:HR is still $10 on Amazon. That is a bit out of my impulse buy zone, but I am a huge fan of the original and when the hell will it be that cheap again?
DX:HR is worth the 60 I paid, and I too am a huge fan of the original. One of my GOTY's.
Ok.... Wow, I got classed up again. Much thanks to the every classy @kendrik for dragging me out back into the world of sims with Wings of Luftwaffe! Back to the skys:)
Did you play Black and White and liked it?
Then you will probably like From Dust.
Not necessarily, I loved Black and White and hated From Dust. And I even played it on 360, which was apparently the "good" version.
And I hated Black and White and enjoyed From Dust.
So there's that.
Ok, ok... so I guess it wasn't the best of comparisons. The game is a bit unique in its own way.
But it was the first thing that came to mind when I first saw the game. But Lemmings makes sense too.
Oh great, PvZ again. Why can't the Bookworm Adventures games ever be a daily deal?
:^: Like
And man, am I the only one who has spent more money on Amazon for Steam games than actually buying stuff directly on Steam? I have bought Renegade Ops, Dungeon Defenders, Mafia II, and Dead Island on Amazon in the past few days. Oh, and also, I bought DX:HR on Gamer's Gate.
I kinda loathed Prototype. Starts out fun but quickly just becomes nonstop clusterfucks. Lot of potential though, looking forward to checking out the sequel.
Do you have $7.49 worth of words you could type out that would convince someone it's worth it?
You can drop kick a helicopter, assume the form of a Soldier and accuse other soldiers of being the mutant getting them shot up, become an old lady and run up a building with a fat guy then suplex him off the roof into the street, destroy military bases, cause mayhem with a tank, cause major panic and just cause chaos as you see fit.

Just wound up winning the X-Superbox from the trading achievement. Never even looked at it before but it's got pretty spaceships.
Furthermore, @DisruptedCapitalist has apparently remained undisrupted long enough to wear his tux, top hat, and monocle, for by his command Psychonauts has been added to my collection.
Not only this, but @Broncbuster took time out from taming wild horses to ride into town on a tall pinto and ask me to rob banks with him, with the gift of Payday: The Heist.
Also, I just noticed Civilization V GOTY is $10.99 on Amazon.com today, it's a Steamworks game so save yourself $15; buy it there and activate the key on Steam. Since nearly everyone seems to have this on their wishlist, though it was worth a mention.
@Robotspammer surprised me with a classy gift of Datajammers! Thanks so much, man.
I'll also take this opportunity to remind people, I've got a complete set of HL2 to give away, including Eps 1 and 2. All you need to do to win is PM me why you haven't played the series yet! Nothing fancy or long. I'll pick someone later today. Cheers!
Well, with the daily deal, my 66% off prototype coupon will be meaningless.
Oh well, got 10 pieces of coal and 3 coupons, one for prototype, one for EDGE (50%, which is currently at 50% off) and Valve's coupon.
I'm seriously reconsidering hunting the achievements, haven't been able to de the DEFCON one, but I have so little time to play now, that I prefer to play games that I enjoy.
Lets say I'm terrible at DoTA games. Now, lets say I want the RoI achievement...how would I go about doing it without dealing with the un-relenting asshattery typically associated with these genres? Anyone up for a quick cheevo run for it?

Do I have to do something special in EYE to get the achievement?

I never fear death or dyin', I only fear never trying.
I have a friend who only has one game on his wishlist. So I go to get it for him, inflamed by the holiday spirit, but it turns out he already bought it. Now I'm sad.

You can eat people and, become them, and then murder everyone around them.
Basically, if you enjoyed Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, then you'll like Prototype. It's like Hulk 1.5 without the Marvel license. The story is so-so (and your protaganist is a douche) but the joy of parkouring through the city while gliding into the air and elbow-dropping tanks is hard to resist.
It makes me a little sad that gift history is a little borked right now. It's only showing gifts I sent before Dec. 5th. So I can't even double check to make sure I got everyone I had planned to by now. Boo.

I played Plants vs Zombies a bunch on my phone. Is the "full" version worth it?
And I hated Black and White and enjoyed From Dust.
So there's that.

Haven't found Santa in Renegade Ops yet, but it sounds like he randomly appears?

Because I have a coupon for 75% off of Torchlight that you can have, so if you don't mind waiting until the sale is over you could save a few bucks.
