    I don't know. Take up a hobby. Learn to draw. Climb a mountain. Go on a vacation. Learn to knit. This just reads like "LOOK HOW AWESOME I AM GUYS! LOOK! VALIDATE ME!". I mean most of that list has nothing to do with what you're asking.

    I like number ten the best! Have you tried joining a local LGBT group or joining a local LGBT advocacy group? It is really hard to find motivated LGBT people to get social issues into the forefront of rural or less than perfect areas and you would probably do a really good job!

    @Esh, sadly I really wanted to avoid that. I am trying to ask is I need ideas of goals/new years resolution ideas that takes me out of my comfort. To me climbing a mountain is as scary to buying a house.

    It was totally unnecessary to erase the entire list, but it could have been way whittled down. What do YOU want to do? That's the question. There's millions of possibilities. Everything you listed is pretty banal (well, besides coming out of the closet). There's got to be something actually exciting you'd be interested in doing.
