Really tempted to pull the trigger on Ass:Revelations but I should probably wait for it to go down in price more.
Also, true bros are @Kaffajidhma and @minor_incident for the gifts of The Ship 2 pack and Costume Quest, respectively.
I'm sorry, I also meant to send you that AssRev coupon, but totally forgot. If you're on tonight I'll send it. Unfortunately coupons can just be gifted by email or anything, I have to I through the trade window with you.
Everything looks beautiful when you're young and pretty
So I'm debating on AssBro.. I just finished Ass2 and want AssBro but wondering if there might be a better sale later on? The reason is, I have so many games competing for my time that I may not get to AssBro in a timely manner so, if another sale later on happens that would be fine by me. Just curious on peoples thoughts on the matter of AssBro!
p.s. I didn't use AssBro enough, so AssBro!
Same here... $13 is a bit over my budget, plus I just don't think I'll get to it for a while as well...... AssBro.
Usually only sees a couple sales a year, and AssBro is really really good. I'd recommend getting it now if you aren't planning on waiting til July.
It has been patching like... forever!
And now it changed the patching screen to another patching screen.
Standard Asian game development. The game is actually surprisingly fun (requires gamepad to enjoy)
Only keyboard here! Let's see, though...

Mucho thanks to the ever classy @Talith for being a super cool and attractive person that gifted me Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People: Season 1.

Is AssBro and AssRev essential to the storyline after AC1 and AC2? Just wondering how they play into it all.
Yes. I loved Brotherhood, but thought Revelations was okay. Regardless, they both are necessary - Brotherhood had a huge twist, and despite not loving Revelations, I thought the ending was really well done.

That's awesome. In a fit of nostalgia i tried to remember the weird name song and got it right first time. fhqwhgads. How on earth did i remember that, but can't remember my breakfast sometimes.

Red, was revs not as good because it was just more of the same or was it that the story was pretty shitty and the new mechanics were dumb?
I'm just trying to work out the best way for managing my expectations whe I do eventually play it

Man... I figured I could hold off til AC3. AC2 was and still is the only game I have 100% (begrudgingly) completed all trophies on PS3. This sale ::shakes fist at computer screen::
Someone got upset with The Old Republic not working with the steam overlay and time tracking and wrote a little script to fix it. He posted the script over at The Old Republic forums if anyone wants to keep in contact with your Steam friends while having all of your time stolen by SWTOR.

The bomb-crafting was pretty much useless (that is, I never needed one), and the ziplining feature wasn't implemented very well.
Fortunately, I was playing it specifically for "climb around Constantinople and stab dudes because that's what I do", and it delivered well enough. While the story takes a while to get started, it ends up being pretty awesome.
On that note I have some coupons (all of my coupons) that I'm not going to use. Now that the sale is starting to wind down and people are figuring out what they can/can't get just yet, I can throw any of these your way. No need to give me anything, I'm not going to be using any coupons most likely.

So Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Deluxe edition worth it or not?
In my opinion it's the best Assassin's Creed, and I see no reason not to get the deluxe edition instead of the regular since it's only $3 more. Unless, you really want that $3.
I had the regular version and just picked up the deluxe upgrade thing.
Wait what, where? I think something like this way available with AC2, but I can't find it with AssBro.

I think that it added features that weren't really that necessary or useful (bombs, ziplinging, the hook), meddled with the awesome ideas that came from Brotherhood (territories) and made it meh, and also added a terrible tower defense mode.
With that said, the core game is still fun, and the story is very solid, especially Altair's. His parts were really, really cool.
Edit: not a tower defense mode, sorry. More of a tower defense mechanic for certain things. It is not necessary - you only have to do it once - but it still exists.

Think I might have to reformat and I don't want to start completely over in Skyrim.
Save file locations vary widely depending on the game (and possibly OS). In the case of Skyrim, I believe the save files should be in your My Games folder (in Documents).
I have a $10 bestbuy ecard which I'd much rather have a $10 steam credit. Can't find anything after scouring their site. If anyone wants to trade PM me otherwise I'll just start browsing Blu-rays haha.

whoops sorry I meant for Assassins Creed 2. Still have yet to snap up ASSBRO.
Also apologies to minor incident foot footing a game that isn't steamworks, stupidly rushed the entire thing on my phone this morning.
Silly thing is I bought my copy from then and that was activated on steam. Weird. Must have changed it it something.

I stumble to my email on my junker laptop after a 7 hour overnight drive to Jersey to find @Iolo has gifted me Assassin's Creed 2! Much sneaky stabbing will happen once I get back to a computer that can run it! Thanks!

I'd like to get the Cheevo for Revenge of the titans legitimately, can someone give me some pointers? I got the first titan down, but i just don't know which towers to build and how to properly protect them/upgrade them.

The problem (or MY problem, anyway) with AssRev was the surprising lack of any actual assassinating.
Would it be ok to skip AssCreed 1 and go straight to the second one? The little I played of the first one didn't leave me very interested in it but the setting in 2 sounds really fun on it's own...

Absolutely. The gameplay in the first one becomes a chore almost immediately. Thankfully they added 500% more fun to part 2. Just read a detailed plot summary for 1, and skip to playing 2.

I think it'd be more appropriate to say they added fun to 2. 1 was devoid of fun.

I've just got to that part now, you can load previous quick saves by just going to load game instead of load quick save

On the plus side, the Bookworm games should improve his vocabulary.
On the minus side, now every time he accomplishes the smallest thing he'll expect giant fireworks and someone telling him how incredible he is.

It varies from game to game.
There are a couple of places saves tend to get stored, at least on windows 7:
C:\user\<username>\Documents
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local
But neither of those seem to have skyrim information. Checking...
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves
