When you get a code for a game on amazon, how do you use it to download the client? I've got a copy of Tropico 4 I still need to find a home for but it doesnt activate on steam.

They also price matched the Total War games. Rome is free, Shogun 2 is $2.50. Note that a maximum of $5 in credit is applied to one title, so if you have two promo codes it will only apply $5 instead of $10. Shogun registers on Steam, Rome does not.

It's kinda better this way. Gives the people who enter a better chance to win, and less of a chance for some goose who doesn't frequent the forums to sneak in. I kinda prefer shorter ones myself.

As I had lots of good entries left over, I was only too happy to comply. The additional runner-up has now been contacted so he can claim his prize.

I did the math the other night and I think I spent around $15 altogether. I think that I'm starting to hit the "own everything I want" point (plus, not having a AAA (or even AA) gaming rig anymore has hurt my selection considerably).

but out of 23 objectives I got 18 coal and 5 vouchers, then I crafted 7 of that coal into another voucher

Yeah, steamgifts does the work and chooses someone for you. Then it should give you the person's email to gift the game to.
