thanks! it's the same type i use for all the wallpapers (with varying degrees of transparency), i just can't get over how nice that background is. interfacelift is just so consistently great

Android devices have so many varying resolutions and aspect ratios that designing apps that will look good on all of them is a waste of effort. Your comment reminded me of this, and it amused me.
Also I installed Fences at work and it's pretty cool.
Someone posted a link a few pages back to a site that has loads of gaming desktop backgrounds, then customised the desktop icons to look like the Light-Discs
