So Beauty & the Beast is coming back to the theaters in a limited fashion, and in 3D, come January 13th. I for one am very excited as the film is arguably one of the greatest animated films ever produced and certainly this forumer's favorite animated movie of all time. Let us all look back on the magic and the soul of this beautiful motion picture.
My little sister was born with a club foot, and spent some time in a wheelchair
Her biggest series of operations, the most invasive and nasty ones, coincided in the year of this film's release. And her reward for being brave was going to the cinema, and every time she chose to see Beauty and the Beast. I saw it twice with her, but I think she saw it five or six times in total, dragging my parents there time and time again
She is going to take us, and her new BF, to see it again. I'm utterly certain of it!
I'm not too excited to see it in 3D, but rarely do I get the chance to see this film in a theater.

How would a 2D animated movie work in 3D anyways? Are the characters still flat, or do they round them out? Is it made to look like a motion comic? I never saw Lion King 3D...

apparently there's going to be a Tangled short before the movie
By popular demand, directors Nathan Greno and Byron Howard are bringing back some of Disney’s most beloved characters when "Tangled Ever After" picks up where "Tangled" left off. The Kingdom is in a festive mood as everyone gathers for the royal wedding of Rapunzel and Flynn. However, when Pascal and Maximus, as flower chameleon and ring bearer, respectively, lose the gold bands, a frenzied search and recovery mission gets underway. As the desperate duo tries to find the rings before anyone discovers that they’re missing, they leave behind a trail of comical chaos that includes flying lanterns, a flock of doves, a wine barrel barricade and a very sticky finale. Will Maximus and Pascal save the day and make it to the church in time? And will they ever get Flynn’s nose right?
The other day I was in the car with my mum and I said to her "I've been thinking..." and she turned to me and went "A dangerous past time, I knooow!" before I could continue. Its the Disney film of choice in our household.

I need this.

it adds depth
3d is not just shit popping out
which is only about 5% of hamlet
brilliant
and nala killing herself was tragic
Zazu is obviously a reference to Iago
you were Romeo I was the scarlet letter
I would have watched the movie a thousand times if they'd done that.
and my daddy said "stay away from Juliet".
I hate 3D.
I'm torn here, peoples.
I would say superliminally, actually.
Natasha and I do this all the time.
It's fantastic.
I guess they did go pretty hard into "the bad lion is gay, and his henchmen are mexican"
Satans..... hints.....
Your not alone...
next to Aladdin.
now that is actually a reference to shakespeare!
And the father comes back as a ghost and pushes his son to oust the uncle.
they've kinda stepped back with racial stereotypes and started making noise about classism
but hoo boy are they stuck on gender roles
that is the entire reason behind his motivation
