well cylon helo if I was a cylon (which i am not of course) i would be tempted to play my super crisis card if it was not a cylon attack card especially if it had activate raiders on it or perhaps maybe just activate raiders since they are all nice and gathered in one area with all those poor civilian ships...
So what to do now? I would love to brig Adama, which could be done be giving Roslin an XO and then she could use her OPG and hopefully draw an arrest order.
But I think it's also important to clear up all the raiders, so maybe i should give Apollo the XO and let him use his OPG + a maximum firepower totaling 9 attacks (launch 1 viper, activate it 5 times + 4 from MF)
Or we can just jump out of here - but then the cylon admiral would choose another sucky destination.
I think we should stay and kill the raiders, but what do you guys think?
we can brig Adama by using Admirals quaters - which I dont think will work since we dont have enough green/purple
or we can brig him by using an arrest order which we dont have right now. There are 2 arrest orders left in the stack, the stack has 10 cards and Roslin draws 4 using her OPG, I think that amounts to a 66% chance that Roslin draws at least 1 of the arrest order cards.
But even if we brig Adama my crisis will probably still activate the raider and you will probably still get blown out of the air and we will loose 3 civilians.
A different approach would be:
1 of the civilians is a decoy, so we could leave that in sector 5 and then move 1 of the other to sector 6 and the other to sector 4. The ship with the lowest pop would be moved to sector 6 and the raiders will go after that one. The raiders will eventually catch up to the ship in sector 6, but atleast the ship in sector 4 is safe as we should jump before there's 4 raider activations
It depends on the crisis cards. I am worried about surviving a hail of 7 shots, but we're also getting low on Viper supplies too. But I'll do what I can.
I've been thinking about this all day now, and I think the best option is to make sure Apollo doesnt go to sickbay. Adama is probably gonna jump us or reveal, which in either case is not worse than Apollo going to sickbay.
I guess there's never been a better time for Apollo's OPG:
Move to Comand - play XO on Apollo
Apollo, launch your best pilot and kill some raiders - let me see 6 kills
i know im gonna look like the bad guy for saying this (hahaha pun intended) but please bold your orders going forward i was salivating at thought of 5 vipers sitting in space then it got changed, he didn't bold the order and it is a newbie friendly game so i don't have a problem with it at all
2. Setup:
1x Basestar in Sector 1
1x Viper in both Sector 5 and 6
1x Civilian in Sectors 3, 4, 5, and 6
3. Special Rule: Relentless Pursuit: Keep in play until a civilian ship or basestar is destroyed. If this card is in play when the fleet jumps, shuffle it back into the Crisis deck.

Why would Roslin be the choice to do that? - Wouldn't she have to discard 2 cards to activate the office?
note to self need to update firmware on raiders... oh i mean hooray for galactica

I think our best course of action is the XO on Rosalin and hope for an Arrest Order.
If you XO me, I'd take two shots but that the best I can do. Unless I take my first action as my OPG.
