iTunes Match, I hate you so much...

Hello,

I have iTunes Match enabled on my machine. For some odd reason, it works just fine on other computers, even in Virtual Machines that run on my laptop, but if I run iTunes natively on my machine, it starts up, tries to connect to iTunes Match, fails and produces this icon:

iTunes%20Match%20Error.png

The cloud icon should be solid, but instead I get this symbol which I guess is telling me that the connection couldn't be established.

This has to be a problem on my computer with the software I have installed. I started a thread on the Apple discussion forums, and I actually solved the problem the first time around by uninstalling Daemon Tools and AnyDVD HD and updating them, but after a month the problem returned, and uninstalling those two pieces of software has not helped.

Maybe one of you gurus can help me out here, because this is driving me mad. I originally thought it was a problem with the Killer network drivers (because, lets face it, they do weird things with their drivers), but after uninstalling my Killer WIFI drivers and connecting via LAN cable, the problem still exists. (And of course the Virtual Machines work just fine even over WIFI)

My system specs are:

Alienware M18x
i7 2620QM
12GB RAM
2x AMD 6990M running 12.1 Preview drivers (works fine)
2x Seagate Momentus XT in RAID 0
Windows 7 x64 (I also have XP 32 bit, Vista x64 and 7 x64 as VMs, they all work)
Killer 1103 Wi-Fi Card

As far as running software is concerned: I try to keep my running processes as minimal as possible. At the moment I don't have anything but Steam, Origin, Logitech SetPoint and Gaming software (both updated yesterday), and the Alienware stuff (lighting system, macro keys, OSD), as well as Microsoft Security Essentials and the Windows Home Server connector.

Can anyone here help me out? Does iTunes keep logs somewhere?
