"What is inside out, and all around, upside down, yet can't be found?

It goes backward forward in daylight, left and right then out of sight.

It's hot and cold without a doubt, like sun and moon twirling about.

It's north south east and west, black white and all the rest.

Good luck in solving this little chime, you'll be at it 'til the end of time.
"

what is it, and why..?

Id guess a shadow, but I am terribad a riddles. And the "hot and cold" and "black white" don't really add up to match it. Otherwise though... a shadow totally fits.

    Wind.

"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

Ohhh, wind is solid. The only thing I dont line up with it is "black white and all the rest" but you could match that up with the fact wind blows stuff around, and that stuff can be "black white and all the rest"

Pretty sure Ocean's telling us he's going to commit a horrible crime of some kind.
    Maybe stealing 40 cakes.
We need internet Batman here, now.

I'll will acknowledge when someone solves the riddle. so far, nobody has. I definitely figured people would say "time, space, wind", none of which are correct.

That's as many as four tens.

    And that's terrible.

I'm really curious to see what the answer will be.

    Another try:

"What is inside out, and all around, upside down, yet can't be found?" - It's not necessarily invisible, but it might be, and might be prevalent everywhere.

"It goes backward forward in daylight, left and right then out of sight." - Could have something to do with omnipresence, but it does give it some limitations in that it has certain conditions in order to be something.

"It's hot and cold without a doubt, like sun and moon twirling about." - I guess this is indicative of its nature, meaning that hot/cold is irrelevant to it or just part of it. The sun and moon part is probably not a clue but just an reiteration of the first sentence.

"It's north south east and west, black white and all the rest." - Now this had me confused a bit, it is once again suggested to be everywhere in a sense - but other sentences and the quip about black and white suggest it is limited.

"Good luck in solving this little chime, you'll be at it 'til the end of time." - Could be a clue about it (time hmm).

Could it be human morals/human conscience?

    nope.

and as for the "black and white and all the rest", i'll help clarify that "all the rest" is referring to all the colors in the color spectrum. wasn't sure if you got that.

The general theme of the puzzle seems to be "it's everywhere, but disappears under certain circumstances", so I'm going to guess it's light.

I will be tremendously disappointed if the answer is 'God' or 'Love' or something.

I am confused by the choice of the word "chime" in the last line. It's a poor choice to rhyme with 'time' unless it has some significance with the rest of the riddle.

The first line makes everything pretty difficult. You can fit a fair few concepts to the next three lines (and even the last line, if it's a clue). For example, the Earth, the sunset or sunrise, and so on.

...and of course, as always, Kill Hitler.

Backward forward in Daylight makes me think of Daylight Savings Time.

But other then that I'm pretty stumped. At least he didn't ask what he has in his pocket...

it's not. it's specific. you can breathe a sigh of relief. but someone has to answer correctly for the answer to come about. nobody has done so yet.

energy is hot and cold, and can go backward and forward, can give you poles which would orient like north south east and west, makes up the visible light spectrum and then some, and will exist indefinitely, and is everywhere, but can't really be "seen" but it can be in certain ways.

Energy is an abstract concept but it's the most likely thing to fit all the criteria of nothingness and everything (because mass is different from it in the most basic sense).

Magnets, light, gravity, everything is "energy" as a concept, even mass (E=mc^2)

not a doctor, not a lawyer, examples I use may not be fully researched so don't take out of context plz, don't @ me
