personally, i'm a hell of a lot healthier and i won three months to work on my own health through my cruel and unexpected manipulation of university bureaucracy, also i really needed it

so i am going to swim and read and watch things and write things and finish my MA with flying colours in the summer

I'm looking forward to staking my own claim somewhere away from family, again. It'll do wonders for my mental health, and physical (yay ulcer).

Also will be able to get out more, as I'm assuming I'll end up in a place with easier access to things. Via the existence of public transit and sidewalks that won't take me an hour to get into town.

Oh god, and the worst thing is this is really, really hard to control.

I get easily stressed and can make myself pretty sick because of it, and yet despite knowing this it is SO hard to de-stress myself!

Also as for me, baby! (duh!), but I also really, really hope for a British Christmas, and for my grandmother to live to see her 90th birthday (I'm sure she shall, but she's always pessimistic), and to generally improve friendships and relations over last year.

continue to foster the compassion and serenity i've found
put in at least forty hours volunteering somewhere

ALSO, probably gonna try to start seeing a head-shrinker.

one thing i'm TOTALLY looking forward to for 2012 is that it seems like the world's on an upswing, finally. i'm pretty optimistic about this year.
