ME too! so much so some nights I can't play on it.
Is there not something to be done? It happens on no others....
I was getting some rubberbanding last night but it turned out to just be my son using his mother's laptop to try and dl something at the same time and was choking up my bandwidth.
Still, wish I had a better connection to the server. 70 ping sucks against Shiashi and his 7 ping when we come around corners at the same time. :P
Should've spanked em'...that'll teach em' to mess with your Battlefields.

The feature is called skill scrambler, so I assume it is skill based. According to the documentation;
"A build in scrambler scrambles the team at every new map (not new round) if one team wins with too much tickets. Squads are kept together if no error occurs. "

so clearly when we're doing a good old fashioned pub stomp we're going to get to a 149 point lead and then just fuck around and let them cap for a minute.

we have done some security updates to the game server software.
A few RSPs will trial the server tonight, and if it works well, all RSPs will begin full scale rollout during Thursday.
I will detail the changes in the future.
This update fixes several of the cheat exploits allowing hackers to mass kill players.

I have no idea how skill is calculated.
The skill score is still a fairly good gauge of....skill. Someone with a skill of 500 will likely be a better player than someone with a skill of 300, assuming both players have played a sufficient amount of time to normalize their scores.
idk carb, I thought I had my skill pinned down at about 450 and over these past few days it's taken huge swerves into 250, up into 500+ and now it's settled at about 400. what I'm trying to say is that I'm really bad, but also the skill stat is fuckin' weird. normalization might still be happening, sure, but I'd really think by rank 51 it'd have a decent gauge of where I am...

Edit: not sure if this is something our admins would be interested in. It allows servers to keep a database of banned users so we could subscribe to some that have a bunch of hackers and hopefully reduce the amount of them even being able to join the server.

Are you inviting someone to play with you vice-versa?
Every time that I invited someone to play with me, they are the pilot and if they invite me, I am the pilot.
Not sure if this is usual, but it is what I have noticed the 4 or 5 times I have played that level.
In our continued effort to minimize cheating in Battlefield 3, we recently banned another batch of several hundred confirmed cheaters based on your reports and our player behavior data.
At DICE, we will never tolerate cheaters. Life on the battlefield can be harsh, especially when you’re up against the fantastic flying duo. But it should never be a case of you losing because someone is outright cheating.
We have always taken cheating seriously. Starting today, we will further intensify our efforts to hunt down and rid Battlefield 3 of cheaters. Stats wiping and banning this disruptive minority is the only way they will understand that they are ruining the game for others. We do this for the millions of dedicated players out there who deserve a fair game, every game.
If you believe you have been the victim of outright cheating, the best way to report your concerns is to go to Battlelog, enter the profile page of the person you suspect and click the triangle in the top right corner of his name.
This will open up a window where you can describe to us at DICE what happened. Please enter as much detail as possible, describing what specifically makes you believe this player has used unfair methods, and preferably include a link to the Battle Report for the match in question.
These reports are then received by our analysts here at DICE who will do a deeper analysis of the situation and take appropriate action, including stats wiping and/or banning players who are confirmed as cheating.
Reducing the number of cheaters is an ongoing endeavor, and one that we will never stop. Thanks for your co-operation, and see you on the battlefield!

If a team loses by more than 150 tickets, the teams will be scrambled.

Shiashi based.
Addendum, does it preserve squads?
