Looking for wireless mic for the manshoot strategies
So here's my ideal - I'd like to have a wireless headset like the ones all these weird cell phonen users have. But I'd like for it to only send me the teamspeak/steam call/etc... part of the voices. I'd like to be able to keep the game itself playing out of my speaker system. Are there any programs that can get to the audio and split it up like I can do in OSX
all else failing what's a good wireless headset =/

Any bluetooth handsfree headset can pair with a mac or PC that has bluetooth (read: all macs and almost all PC laptops) or a bluetooth dongle.
Once paired, you should be able to treat it as a soundcard with output/microphone in any voice chap app on the PC.

hey that's not bad at all. thanks now I just gotta find a freakin headset. It's quite a painful process =(
ps - you a Dark Tower fan, yea?
I am, say thankya.
With regards to the headset hunt, consider the environments you plan to use it in when buying. If you want to use this for both teamspeak AND hands free calls when roaming about, my suggestion to you is to find a model that has fantastic noise cancellation and acceptable battery life. Those should be your primary features.

on iPhone side
-pause/play (also listen to music/audiobooks)
-answer/hangup call
-volume
-interact with siri
PC side
-...well really just work I guess. It'd be nice if it came with a BT dongle but maybe I can find one cheap.
Also - I just noticed that TS has an iPhone app - wish it were free but it's only 5 bucks so might go that road if (probably) aa BT dongle costs more.
9.99 - yeah, pricier than 5 bucks, but you really don't want to use the iPhone TS app; the PC app has tons more features.
