The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I'm very excited to see this. Zodiac is the new David Fincher film about the Zodiac serial killer in San Francisco. It has been getting a lot of positive reviews at Rotten Tomatoes, so that's a good sign.
Here's a trailer. I can't find a trailer for it on Apple's website, so I settled for Youtube.
Was it ever much better than, at best, a high school philosophy course?
I went to highschool in the ghetto. We didn't have philosophy classes. And highschool was worse than SE, because I couldn't just randomly leave class and do whatever I wanted.
Wait, yes I could. I barely went to school sober senior year.

Not far off from my high school experience. I remember thinking that I would have rather spent four years in boot camp than four years in high school, given the choice. At least when you have a sadist yelling at you all day long for not being the perfect trooper, he's consistant about the subject.
I was rather lucky. My father taught a world humanities class, we had American humanities, we had world religion, we had a fairly generous amount of AP classes including psychology, we had a film history class, theater, several kinds of art classes, etc. etc.

I thought AP psychology was pretty boring. For some stupid reason I imagined it to be "Look at this dude in this book, he's CRAAAAAZY!" but there were actually only one or two of those.

Did anyone else catch this tonight? I enjoyed the shit out of it. I thought it got a little slow in the middle but when Jake took over in the second half I was totally hooked. I'm kind of a sucker for the whole serial killer thriller though, but this one was exceptionally enjoyable.
Yeah it was pretty long and like I said it started to drag a bit in the middle but I thought it really picked up for the second half. I guess what I'm saying is though I expected the length to be an issue, in the end it wasn't at all.

I lost the game.
Excellent
Me too, thanks a lot asshole.
There's a 10 minute grace period after someone loses the game, duh.
Well, that's how we do it here in Eugene.
I think they're talking about that game where the purpose is to not think about the game.
And I just lost

Yeah I have to cover my boner with my trapper keeper.

As long as he learned a lesson from Panic Room.
What a crappy movie.
It was excellent. It's kind of long, but you only become aware that it's a long movie near the very end. And not in a bad way.
That's about it.
Oh
I was all excited to talk about it and jumped the gun
