We've got the tail end of a cyclone hitting us at the moment which really just means a lot of rain and strong wind. Everything has been shut down and I'm spending my day finding busy work for people.

Threatening how? Watchoo doing going to bed at 8am?
You've probably seen In Bruges, but in case you haven't, watch it.
that midget is hilarious
also, my girlfriend is apparently a pro photographer
you know the very beginning of the movie when they show you random 'clips' of Bruges to put it in context, but the clips are pretty much just photos they slowly pan across?
so my girlfriend and i are watching the movie, and the camera pans across a home on the riverfront with a dog in the window, and my girlfriend thinks she recognizes the dog. we go through her camera, and sure enough she has a photo of that exact same window, exact same dog, maybe a year or so apart.
maybe thats a 'you had to be there story', i dunno. i thought it was cool.
this is why it was sorta silly of me to ask for black comedy recommendations
I've seen a lot of them, and don't want to keep shooting down suggestions and nobody wants me to type up a big list of movies I've already seen
I'm a lil nervous that I won't like Brazil (I liked 12 Monkeys fine, didn't really care for Imaginarium, but that mighta been the Ledger thing), but it's still something I feel like I Oughta See, you know?

It's one of my favorite ways to edit, actually
It is really good
But I am too goddamn ADD tonight
Edit: That should probably just be AD, ADD is a noun

all sorts of opinions, I just want the truth
And i just started spouting on facebook that time wizards are jerks, and i'm trying to make time wizards a thing.
It was okay as a weird movie. I watched it and enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it's the best but it's worth watching once.
I could just go to bed if it were a couple hours later
Christ, I have only been awake for like, ten and a half hours
Fuck you today
not Squid and the Whale black comedies, I'm thinking more Dr. Strangelove
I like it a lot
my parents liked it, so I'm partial
Burn After Reading
I should probably just watch Brazil, culturally significant and all that

Good, though.
Watching it alone at night, it can be depressing as hell.
Braving a snowstorm to watch it at midnight one late December, with eight other intrepid movie-goers, it is darkly hilarious.
