Backpacks

Need a new bag to carry all my crap with me on a daily basis. Tablet, book/magazines, chargers, headphones, random junk. Would also be using it to hall around PAX East.

Looking at either the High Sierra Access ($45) or the Northface Borealis ($75).

Both get great reviews and have probably the same amount of space. I know TNF has great stuff but was wondering if anyone knew of High Sierra.

Anyone have either of these or could suggest something else?

H/A is a better forum. I bought my daughter the Bag of Holding from Thinkgeek and she loves it.

I have used a Chrome Messenger bag for about 4 years. I looks as new as the day I got it.

same here. it's higher than your price point (and i haven't carried a backpack since i was in school, so i know nothing about them) but i have nothing but good things to say about chrome bags if you want a different style.

This is the only brand I trust with my stuff. I do a lot of schlepping in NYC, and I need my iPad, my MacBook Air, a bunch of chargers and accessories, a tiny umbrella, and some other stuff on me at all times.

The waxed canvas/leather bags are super resilient, keep the weather out, and allow me to carry all that stuff on something small enough that I hardly notice its there.

Seriously, this is some cadillac shit here.

Thanks fellas, didn't even go that far to the H/A forum.

Mods please delete if needed. I'll start another in there.

I actually bought the "Timmy's Tactical Attache" from thinkgeek. Thing is so badass but it's a little small for me. It looks like a pocket book on me unfortunately.
