I've worked at blizzard.
Ok, I worked in a blizzard.
It really was more of a snow flurry.

I used to have a lot of issues in retail in the US with foreign customers and the "free after rebate" thing. I think it was just a cultural understanding or a retail difference between countries, which is no big deal, but like there were foreign customers that would line up at our door Sunday morning to specifically but that stuff, like $3 staplers that were buy one get one free, to the point where we had to just start putting it out on a big table out front so we wouldn't waste half the day showing them where every single item on the list was.
Also, if they're refund didn't arrive the next day, they were back in the store to complain, and this was in like 2005 when that super huge company in Canada who handled most of the free after rebate coupons and the escrow money went tits up because of bad investments and NO ONE was getting refunds, or at the very best they were getting them months later.
Also there were the shady few, US born or otherwise, that would always try to return the stuff they just bought after they had cut out the UPC and sent it in for the rebate, to try and get free money.
I would like to work in Blizzards basement. Just sorting things, all by myself. Sometimes people would come down to find an old file or something, and there I'd be. Making them uncomfortable with my stare.
Good times.

Although you have a child to support now...hmmm.
My income is basically the only one in our household, so my wife and daughter have to live with what ever financial mistakes I make. As much as my current job sucks, it pays the bills.

Also, isn't Tron still alive and just corrupted? Why not just uncorrupt him instead?
Tron:Legacy spoilers below:
The evil guy with the distorted voice is Rinzler, voiced by Bruce Boxleitner AKA Tron. Seeing as how this is a prequel to the movie, wherein Rinzler regains his true function at the last minute and sacrifices himself, there isn't much in they can really do to write Tron back into the story.
If you mean why not just copy Tron's old data or something, that would make sense too, but I think we're meant to believe that the mechanics of the grid don't work that way, or that it can't happen without a User to do it for them.
Honestly there's a lot of plot holes in the Tron:Legacy universe, like why didn't Flynn change Clu's directive from creating the perfect system into something less ambitious when he came to the decision that you can't manufacture perfection? Or why didn't he use his Godlike powers to create more warriors like tron from within the Grid to counter Clu's Coup d'etat?
The simplest answer is that if he had done any of those things none of the conflicts in the movie would have been necessary.
And despite that, I love it all the same.

I dunno, the CG looks pretty tight in that trailer, but the animation looks a little flat, those fight scenes looked like they were missing a few frames here and there.

Yeah, that's where I am at the moment. If I wanted to do what I really wanted to do I'd have to look at taking at least a 10 grand paycut.
Sorry to hear that job doesn't pay enough MT, that's a huge bummer. Nothing like a nice pick me up just to get shut down... er not shut down, but yeah you get what I'm sayin'.

I don't use up a lot of money. If I was single, I'd take it in a heartbeat!
So, what do you do when you've lost every single friend you have, save for a couple of people you see, at best, 3 times a year? And literally every new person you meet seems utterly disinterested?
There was something important here. It's gone now.

dont fall into the same trap that many of my acquaintances have by trying to find someone at a bar. If you don't succeed you wind up a drunk. I have plenty of examples to back that up.
Now isn't forever and you dont need to settle just to satisfy yourself in the moment.

If you got any IT positions, I have a fantastic programer who moved to California for the shot to work at Blizzard.
I'd love to work in the Blizzard datacentre. I'd buy a parka for it and everything.

I'll watch it. Although, I'm not sure I'm digging the artistic style they're going with for the human figure or animation.
