    It's been a while since I've been this pissed off at a game.

    Thank you Dead Space, you know exactly what I need in the middle of a boss fight. Flip my character upside down whilst changing my aiming scheme from inverted back to normal, and then wave me around in the air so I have no chance of getting a shot at fucking anything. I love dying twelve times in a row, and having to watch the same un-skippable extended intro and death sequences every time.

    It's been a while since I've just given up and switched my console off at the main power switch, I think the last time was Rage Racer on the PS1...

    So, I'm heading over top the hospital to visit my Nanna who's been admitted to A&E. She's stable and perky at the moment, but her blood pressure isn't coming up no matter how many blood units they put into her.

    Looks like there's going to be a high-risk procedure tomorrow to see if they can cauterise her internal bleeding, but if anything goes wrong this might be the last time I'm talking to her.

    Procedure over and my Nanna is still not dead. It might take a few days of observation to work out if it was actually a success or not, but the 'not dead' part means that the most dangerous part has probably passed. Chances are good for recovery from here, but it's probably a few days before we know for sure.

    Watching it right now. Almost all of the panel were incredible. The young writer guy and the American fellow were really interesting too. This is the best Q&A in a looooooooong time.

    The new Eva reboot movies (2 of 4 done so far) have been pretty incredible so far, so if you guys at least somewhat liked the original series and movies I'd highly suggest checking them out (and I own them both if anyone in Perth wants to borrow them).

    And yeah the ending of Berserk is pretty intense. The manga, apparently, gets even crazier from that point on.
