Not sure why I play any character other than Graves.
Out of curiosity how do you build him?
Last time I played him I played pretty bad, got zoned by a soraka/vayne in lane, died once or twice late laning, and just did pretty bad all around.
Build really depends on my support (I will NEVER take an AD carry bot if it isn't a 0cs lane, my god the pain). This game starts and I have a Nunu for support that takes a health crystal +pots, so no support for me. I take armor+5 when I need sustain, or a Dorans blade if I have a healer(Soraka, Taric, Sona) for easier last hitting. Because I went armor, I wanted to build it into something, and I got a couple kills before I upgraded my boots, so I decided on Zerkers. Can't let the armour go to waste, so I built it into a wriggles(I love wriggles - good stats, free ward every 3 minutes, great ability to do dragon) because Nunu wasn't buying wards.
I got all the kills when our jungler ganked, so I got pretty fed and was able to buy BF sword into IE, followed by more attack speed(double swords into PD). Then I bought the bloodthirster.
I was so fed that I could 2-shot their Soraka and 4 shot their Jax. I didn't have to buy any defensive items, but I like to get banshees veil if the other team is more of a threat.
Edit - If I don't get fed in lane, but am farming decently, I go 2-3 dorans blades + boots then start my IE. I always used to brush away Dorans builds until I realized just how much survivability they give you. 100 health can go a long way, especially still in lane.

I just fooled around with a support Anivia. Stun, wall, aoe slow/atk speed debuff are kinda handy for that. It was fun but obviously she only works as a Lux/Orianna type support, so it's not really viable in a very competitive environment.
I understand how jungling works, so I'm not going to blame you for bottom sucking, but OTOH, you bitching like a goose with a sore reproductive system about our lane when you are 0 ganks / 0 dragons is a bit rich. And by a bit rich, I mean please commit suicide IRL. Or, at the least, ask enemy Shy how to jungle properly. I did outfarm you as 0 CS (except when carry wasn't in lane) support, btw.

It's not that I want to give up wriggles, but I get so tired of selling old items for new items. If I get Atma's I normally end up selling wriggles, because Shyvana with runes and her R passive just ends up tanky as hell anyway. Then again, I could always say the hell with Atma's...
I guess I'm just trying to improve on a hilariously good thing. I firmly believe Shyvana can do whatever she wants to do, and is just a klepto who needs to get all those creep kills and gold. I mean, she's a f-ing dragon, if she wasn't a klepto I'd question her heritage.

Push a good lane for yourself if need be. If the other side is running a Eurolane and solo top, then go top and stay there no matter how much your team might whine.

I actually do support pirate quite a bit. It's really strong against non sustain support lanes. You have a global presence on the map with your ult that can turn fights anywhere, good team buff, good zoning/poke with q, and you can basically take the other team's CC and poke with your oranges for your carry. Also has the nice side effect that if the game goes well enough you basically end up with an extra carry or bruiser in team fights. I basically just go triple gp/5 into shurelia's, randuins, GB.

Graves and Cait are an issue. I'm not a big fan of AD carries being counterpicks to other AD carries.
I can't do squat with this new boar chick. I've played four games with her and stunk every time, failing to kill more than I die. My assists are decent but I don't feel tanky enough to ... tank.
You can lead a carry to a kill, but you can't make them right click.

It is . It was better when red buff applied to spells cause flip was awesome for ganking.
Having the most damage taken out of both teams and the fewest deaths out of both by a wide margin almost feels as good as hitting a skillshot.

Refrozen pendant start and big leash on blue. Toggle poison on/off to save mana and maximize DMG-mana usage ratio

but more often than not you're not going to get there, and giving up an item entirely just cause you don't wanna have to sell it back later is silly
that's like never buying dorans in the laning phase cause you know you'll have to sell them later

He can still dodge with one of his skills, dodge all attacks for a short duration.
It feels useless later game, and I don't usually duel enough for the lifesteal to help

My usual build is blade->merc->wriggles->trinity force->Some defense item with health->atmas

I have been forced to the bottom or at least duo-top in a lot of pub games
most of my things are about pub games
but i am interested in learning how to jungle on wukong, but then there I would assume the wriggles is a necessity
