if they can get him back in your hand, unless you saved yet another burn spell or have a way to get damage through without attacking (assuming they have ways to deal with attackers, anyway), it could get pretty annoying to find a way to recast him

Basically I'm not terribly familiar with the secondary market and don't want to screw this up.
As an individual, private seller, the secondary market for you is pretty much seeing what other sellers are offering the card for, offering it for slightly less, and hoping someone takes you up on it.
A set of 4 foil Snapcaster Mages has 8 bids on eBay right now, meaning people are legit fighting for it. And the current bid is $180. Star City Games is selling individual SCM foils for $50.
Put it on eBay for say, $35, and see if you get some higher bids. I am guessing you will get at least $40 for it. Make sure you note it's in mint unplayed condition; if you have a sleeve, put it in their immediately and show in the picture it's in the sleeve.
I haven't sold Magic cards but I've sold a handful of "bonus DLC costumes/weapon" etc freebie codes from game preorders, for example I decided one time I enjoyed $30 more than Sub Zero having a different costume. As long as you don't do anything silly like take a personal check or whatever it's a relatively painless process. And yes, given that SCM is a highly sought after card you will definitely get more selling it yourself on eBay than to a card dealer who will likely take it and... sell it on eBay.
Also, just as a reassurance thing if you've never sold something before... you shouldn't feel like you are "screwing up" anything. If you complete the sale, the worst case might be that you only got $30 instead of $40 for a card you found randomly in a pack you paid $4 for. So look at it in that perspective. Short of accidentally eating the card because you thought it was a Pop-Tart you are going to make money selling it. I just had to sell a car this weekend online. Believe me, Magic cards aren't a big thing.
I officially hate playing against mono-green infect. I had to play against it 4 times in 5 rounds at a SCG IQ today. I still managed to make it to 7th and get some packs, but I always felt way on the back foot against that deck. Looking forward to this rotation.
They look like a lot of fun, and pretty versatile. Hrm.. what can the white/blue one do.. My guess is a 1/3 flier.
I guess the next set will need the same type of artifacts?

yes because 60 is the minimum and there is no upper limit
i think my red deck has 62!
The issue with anything over 60 is an increasing lack of consistency, same reason why you ideally want to be running 4 copies of most cards so that your deck preforms the way it should more frequently.
