Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
January 23rd is of course a very special day this year when we celebrate with our loved ones, traditionally, the passing of Winter into Spring. This year, is that of the Dragon
So of course this means plenty of food
Traditions such as the much-promised, and highly treasured red envelopes
Fireworks!
And most importantly spending time with your family, as well as loved ones, praising them with good fortune and luck

I'm currently in Hong Kong for the festivities and I've had a great year so far, so here's hoping another one is just starting up.
So what are you waiting for, go out and celebrate! Make merry, spread some good will, forget old grudges, return favours you've recieved, love amongst those closest to you and stuff yourself until you only have enough strength to crawl your way into bed.

Oh definitely, my relatives' apartment complex has a great view of the city and harbour.
Also tonight we had a great NYE dinner, bountiful amounts of food and plenty of majong. Best part was my grandma and our Filipino helpers made dumplings with a little special something inside. A handful had date cooked in the middle, if you got one of those it signified good luck and possibly more fortune to your love life, existing or not. However the real prizes were the four or five that had gold charms. I was lucky enough to find one of these!
As soon as I can get a good photo, I'll post it.
hahaha it took me a second
Good job
High five
oh wait
nooo
CURSE YOU CHINESE NEW YEAR
Great minds, Keith. Great minds...
You're treading dangerous waters
body required?
but a year is a year for everyone. like, a 40 year old in china is the same age as a 40 year old in the US.
so how does that work? why don't the days align?
:^:
I would like to dedicate this Chinese New Year to David Schwimmer, and wish him the best in this year of the dragon.
To end this post, I will spoiler some pictures of David Schwimmer, the dragon of the new year:
David Schwimmer's best role was in Band of Brothers, because he played a douchebag. It's easy to just be yourself, that requires no acting at all. I haven't seen a large part of his output, because I haven't liked him in anything I've seen him in, he was annoying and whiny in Friends, boring in Breast Men, absolutely forgettable in Flight of the Navigator, once again more annoying than funny in 30 Rock...
EDIT: And some voice work in Madagascar.
And Happy Chinese New Year!
Steam: Chagrin LoL: Bonhomie
Profitability index. The movies that he appears in generally make good money. While I cannot directly attribute that to Schwimmer's excellent acting, there is a correlation. As an example, consider the entire Madagascar series of movies. All very profitable, and all including him.
edited for spoiler
This will be here until I receive an apology or Weedlordvegeta get any consequences for being a bully
88 is obviously the best possible year to be born in, not only are you a fuckin dragon, it's double lucky!
But the Madagascar movies are shite kid movies with little critical value.
i used to always be jealous of my asian friends when it was lunar new year
sometimes you can get a decent chunk of change out of those things
Dear satan I wish for this or maybe some of this....oh and I'm a medium or a large.
