For a movie about NYC getting hit by a bloody tidal wave you're awfully nitpicky

if you also notcied the kids walked out of the artic weather New york with freaking blankets around thier shoulders and t-shirts. Wasn't it supposed ot be like -40 there or something?

anyone see the daily show bit about Texas last night?

I found it a little upsetting.

that's understatement, cause I just saw it, and words are kinda failing me a little.
Man, the rope guy... how do people say shit like that? Fuck these people.

yeah... and the one who's worst fear was that his kids would have to go to school with them.

WTF? Scared your kid might not grow up to be a bigot?

At least people around here wouldn't be stupid enough to say that kind of shit on national television. Though, I almost wish I wasn't white, cause I end up hearing all sorts of shit I wish a didn't, and I'm really to much of a pussy to flip out on my co-workers about stuff like that.

Honestly, I've wished I could file discrimination law suits on the part of theoretical minorities and women. Like, they would totally be creating a hostile work environment, if they had said that near a gay/black/arab/female employee.

Oh it was just too obvious to ignore :P

*edit: I enjoyed the movie, but I just had to wiki the name of it, it didn't leave behind a lasting impression.

As far disaster movies go, I think that was one of my favorites. Insane and implausible? Sure, but dammit, it was fun to watch, and they couldn't stop the disaster (which always bugs me, I want to see people dealing with surviving a disaster, not figuring out how to use nukes to stop one)

The Texas bit in yesterdays Daily Show sounds so fucked up, I have to see it for myself.

    Edit:

    Emmerich is gay? D:

I will never again watch a movie made by that man!
Just kidding, though I really didn´t know. Huh.

I am looking forward to corporate discounts and shit. Oh man, I'm going to get some ink from an office place soon. The share certificate is cool too. Starting your own business is like playing Monopoly: EXTREME.

Once I'm moved I should be able to work on getting an inventory of things to sell and well, actually selling them. Also, having a website would be good.
