Sound Recorder

Hey, I am in need of a free sound recorder for the computer. I might be able to manage with the one built in with my pc, except it'd be a lot easier if it could go longer than 60 seconds. I downloaded a free trial of Advanced Sound Recorder, but that only lets you go 40 seconds at a time. So, any ideas?

It's excellent on OS X, I can't see why it would be different for XP

It is fabulous in XP as well. Make sure you turn off all your computer sounds when you're using it because it will record pretty much everything (like when I hit 'stop' to stop recording, it records a little click sound which is kind of annoying).
