Ok, first off DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! It sure looks pretty but it has always on online DRM (and Uplay isn't that nice either):
The way you can zoom all the way from the clouds down to individual leaves of grass is quite amazing, as is the details in all the characters (though when you are playing you never watch any of it).
Heard the proposition that RIAA and MPAA should join forces and form "Music And Film Industry Association"?

I was thinking that, but wasn't sure.
That always on DRM thing needs to stop. It isn't even about piracy anymore and the hoops companies are making their paying customers jump through to prove their not thieves while the actual thieves have no hoops proves this.
Anyway, I really enjoyed Settlers 6 and I played the original back in the day like mad, so I'll end up getting it one of these days.
Although, Settlers 6 did not have randomly generated maps. Does Settlers 7? I'm guess no. That's a massive oversight considering that was part of the greatness of the original.
Evochron Mercenary. I haven't even gotten to any dramatic looking places yet!

Playing the Just Cause 2 MP beta. Sorry about the dumbass chat.
I tried to steal a plane but it took off too fast. So I went to another airbase, stole another plane, went back to that first base and followed the plane as it spawn and chased it down so I could steal it in mid air and get the achievement, then I went back to one of those bases and crashed it into something valuable.

Trying something different here. I'm treating the screenshots more as photographs and give them fancy frames and stuff. Several have been mangled in Photoshop as well. The pics are stored on my Flickr account and I hope I can link them properly.
This is from Stalker: SoC. I'm running it with the Stalker: SoC Complete mod and have (obviously) turned it into a black and white pic. gs01006m by Anders_Flickr, on Flickr

Started Prototype 2 at 1680 x 1050 all settings max. It looks so much better in motion to be honest.
Here I am disguised as a scientist molesting another scientist.....
Whoops! Molested a little too hard there.
Here's Heller going for a surprise ninja hug. Because everyone loves spontaneous hugs!

@ Big Isy
Is Prototype 2 any good, then? Total Biscuit absolutely slated it in one of his WTF's and I'm not sure what to think about it.

Haven't played Prototype 2, but to be fair to the game, the complaints that TB had were all things that some people don't care about but he cares a lot about.
Texture quality, framerate and lack of additional improvements from the console version.
He said that it was still as good as the console version, just that he felt that wasn't good enough for PC.
In all honesty, the fact that the game is running so smoothly at a higher resolution than the console versions and is cheaper than those makes it my preferred choice. It is stupid good fun too. They've made it a lot more refined but expanded the story some more, its so much more engaging now imo.

Thanks naengwen. You are now the man I'm going to bother when I need some new wallpaper for my computer. Dem Skyrim screens are disgustingly brutal.
Thanks. I picked up the new weather and climate mod and it is something magical.
That session was basically the time it took to get from Windhelm to the nearest well-lit cave, and botching nearly every action shot in-between. Since then, I reset my configuration with the new comp and monitor; things look sublime, and sound fantastic, but I've been warned not to use an ENB mod with one of the new mods at the moment. I'll have more once I've figured that out.
Dem cloaks, they take the blood splatter so well.
EDIT: Found a fix. Yay, I can have ENB's again.

Really? That's where he chose to place all those glass vials? That's the absolute best location?
Haha, that's actually from a separate mod that lets you craft bandoliers and etc to wear on different parts of your body.
And it's cool, they're totally shatter resistant.
Are you the magic man?

First time a spider landed on my shoulder I was pretty unnerved.
Mostly because it was the size of Shelob, but ehh.
Friends trying a crypt with 3d on and surround sound with the room pitch black freaked 'em right the fuck out, too. First time one of them ever gave up the controller because things were "getting too creepy."

TB's beef was with the port, moreso than the game itself.
