Fast and easy. On the front of the bottle it says "Keep on ice, serve chilled"

Does the thing HAVE to stay cold or it'll ruin?

    It tastes like balls if you don't keep it in the freezer. Best to listen to the directions.

    But prior to drinking, I could put it in the freezer, rather than being forced to keep it there all the time, right?

    No, it doesn't have to be kept cold. It's like 35% alcohol so I'm pretty sure nothing save for a stick of dynamite would spoil it

    We had a bottle just sitting in the kitchen cupboard for a good 5 or 6 years and it was fine, I wouldn't worry.

    I keep my jager in my freezer next to the vodka and vermouth, but that's really just a matter of taste.

    As stated above, I'm pretty sure it won't grow mould or turn purple on you if you keep it in the cupboard. So it's just a matter of how fast you drink it and how badly you need freezer space.

    You can keep it outta the freezer, sure, but the night before you plan on drinking it, throw it in the freezer.

    The jaeg machines serve it at insane temperatures, I love it.
