Im confident enough to say that your manliness likes other men.

You know, when I reach the stars, I was gonna give them all to you.

But now? I'm strong enough to live without you.

    Keith just remember.

If you wanna know, if he loves you so.
It's in his kiss. That's where it is.

Wow... cher lyrics in a 300 thread. Truely these are the End of Days!

If I could turn back time

I'd take back those words that have hurt you.

And lo, I doth see a pale rider named Marathon approach! And from his chapped lips he did proclaim:

What's a matter with you baby
Did you fall too hard when you fall in love
    You fall in love
What's a matter with you baby
    Did you fall too hard

And the seas boiled and the rivers runneth over with blood.

    STOP BREAKING REALITY!

With your feet on the air and your head on the ground,
try this trick and spin it, yeah!
Your head will collapse, and when there's nothing in it, and you'll ask yourself
    Where is my mind?

Ok, I had to break out the Pixies lyrics to fix this, DONT DO IT AGAIN.

to the person with qualms about Gerard Butler, don't forget that he was Dracula 2000, too. But he was also the tubby best friend in Reign of Fire and the only thing worth watching in Timeline. He's got some presence, and he's not a total shit actor. He's just been in some total shit movies.

I don't know that I've ever had anything bad to say specifically about Keith. I have a lot of catching up to do.

How is it possible to not like Invader Zim?

I mean....the man must be lying.

Or he's lacking in any sort of hilarity/awsomosity gland

(though, with the past 3 SW movies, not liking Star Wars is no longer a sin)

I liked everything about this flick. Full of action, hardbodies, and grotesque human monsters (Even some explosions!). I was also totally creeped out by the antagonist, and the hero was a complete badass. I had goosebumps nearly the entire thing through. Plus the long seemingly uncut action scenes were intense.

Fantastic movie. Would watch again, A+++

He's right. Im sure none of the performances here will be oscar worthy by any means.

The movie will still be entertaining, but Citizen Kane this is not.

Who cares? Can anyone here honestly say that they dislike epic action films completely, and only watch films like Citizen Kane? Or whatever?

Because that guy is the one with a right to complain. Everyone else is just being gay and they will secretly see the film anyway and enjoy it and then come here and bitch about the bad acting and how their inner film faggot was undernourished by it.

Maybe if only one movie was made each year, people could complain. But since they make hundreds each year, people should shut the hell up. If you want serious drama, look elsewhere. If you don't like the look of this movie, just don't watch it. It really is that easy.

Apparently you missed the part of my post where I said the movie will be entertaining and many of my other posts where I say that I am very much looking foreward to this movie.

But I guess im not allowed to comment on an aspect of the movie in any sort of negative light or I come across as some sort of movie snob who is just "being gay"

It seems on the IMDB boards, each board gets the wrong croud, by some sort of cruel processing mechanism. I mean, in the Children of men board, you get guys who are like "WTF, there isn't an ending? NOT ENOUGH ACTION OMG", and the 300 board gets people who say "CG has been ruining the art of the silver screen since circa 1990", while sipping his cherry martini vodka.

So I was at WonderCon here in SF last weekend and they had a big "300" panel with the director, Gerard Butler and the chick that plays the queen (whatshername?)

I have to say they showed us say 10-15 minutes of the first battle scene (i think) and it was awesome. Such a cool clip and the panel was pretty good to. Butler is pretty fun at least in a crowd like that.

I don't see a lot of flicks at the theater, but I'll see this on opening day. In IMAX if our theater is showing it.

Because from folks I've talked to who've seen it say its A) awesome, and B) needs to be seen on the biggest screen possible, as it is the very definition of epic myth put to film.

The Spartans don't stab people with spears, they impale them and send them flying across the battlefield. They don cut people with their swords, they cleave them in twain.

As someone who's into D&D put it, the Spartan's are what an army of min/maxed 10th Level Fighters would look like.

Pac Man's character is difficult to explain even to the Japanese -- he is an innocent character. He hasn't been educated to discern between good and evil. He acts more like a small child than a grown-up person. Think of him as a child learning in the course of his daily activities. If someone tells him guns are evil, he would be the type to rush out and eat guns. But he would most probably eat any gun, even the pistols of policemen who need them.
