I'm a little confused with the hype around the wedding episode... I'm having a really hard time thinking that it's going to be *that* good. Sibsy, however, she is super amped about it and said it's probably one of the best ones they have ever done...

Wasn't there something about Season 2 going on Netflix like the day after the finale aired? I hope that's the case, because if so I'm seeing a marathon in my near future.
Maybe. I've just been using my iTunes season sets playing direct from my iPod to the TV with a DVI adapter and a charger setup. Seen every episode, but just not in sequence, and most of these episodes I haven't rewatched in a long while. It just now started Winter Wrap Up.

I already slept all morning and an afternoon nap. And I tend not to sleep nights anyway. Got pizza and soft drink and TOR, ready to go another 12 hours.
It occurred to me as Pandora played a song from Kingdom Hearts, that perhaps the reason for the whole Brony phenomenon (aside from the fact that the show is really good) is maybe there's a whole group of people for whom video games paved the way. I mean, after FFX (the dream of a dead civilizations dream about his evil monster dad), FFXIII (Oh gods we're totally cursed and doomed, except not now because we think that's bullshit and we're all friends and hopey), and Kingdom Hearts 2 (who knows what the fuck) a show about pastel ponies for whom Friendship literally is magic, doesn't seem that far out of the comfort zone.
Still going over here, time for Rarity's parents to show up for S2E5.
Only problem is at the start of random episodes, the iPod will pop up a "The connected display is not authorized to play protected movies" error, which is clearable just by going back to the playlist view and clicking start on the episode again. Odd, but only shaving a few seconds off the pace. Already accounted for up to 5 minutes of slack in the schedule.

Interesting idea for Cadence's sphere of influence, though. Most shows I know try to show that kind of influence as being a bad thing, or at least something that can't be forced by good magic.
