Is a Mac Mini sufficient for iOS mobile (iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch) development?

I kind of want to mess around with iPad/iPhone game development and I guess you either need a Mac, or it's a lot easier if you have a Mac. If I get myself a cheapish Mac Mini, would that be good enough?

You do need a Mac, yeah. The current gen of Minis looks pretty solid. Just make sure you get at least 4GB of RAM.

Don't skimp on the ram and you'll be fine. There's not really any reason to not upgrade to 8GB, it's really inexpensive aftermarket. I'm doing iOS and other development on a mac mini server at my day job.
