That is about all I had in my head so far for a meetup. So lets start planning and get a killer pre-pax meetup!
Hello there my fellow Nor-Eastern Cali and Nor-Western Nevada people! It is time to try and setup the first ever Pre-Pax East meetup for the whole 3 of us that might be going!
Please let me know if your interested in this idea and we shall work out a time and place for a meetup that will hopefully not get killed by random weather.

hey man for prime if you plan on driving up lets convoy up
I dont know that many going from my town but I figured there HAD to be more then me going from Reno area. So Pre-PAX Reno Meetup! I am not saying this should replace the Sac meetup but maybe a counter part to it for those across the hill.
Not knowing how many people might show up or age range lets get some places listed that are friendly to all ages. Casinos are fun times but if there are any Reno/Tahoe PAXer's a little younger they might feel a bit left out if we setup the meet at one.
Idea's for meetup places anyone?
See you in a couple months CaptainTapole!
we could probably do the atlantis/peppermill.
Also if anyone has info on the quality/layout of the Peppermill Arcade please let me know so I can update the OP. I have not been to there Arcade.
Is anyone else going to the meetup doing Buttoneering, if so we can do some pre-pax button trading!
If you are interested in showing up please let me know here or via PM so I can start compiling a list of possible people so we can get a group rate if there is one for the arcade/buffet.
put myself and potentially up to 3-5 other people down
Random idea I had, if the few of us that might show up to this want I want try and make some buttons for this meetup as well as if anyone is trading this year we can get a little bit of a jump on trading.
If you like the button idea please feel free to jump on ye' old photo editor and come up with some ideas!
The Peppermill has about 20 or so "classic" arcade style games, one pinball machine and about 40ish ticket games. The games are fairly modern but not a super good selection of games. 1 or 2 shooter style a few fighters and a dash of the generic modern arcade stuff. No DDR. This arcade is run on a card based system bot coin. Hours of operations where 9 to 11 daily.
The game amount at the nugget is about the same but with more empty room around the machines. It was closed at the time I went by so I did not get a good look at what they had. They did have a few air hockey tables at this one. Not sure on the full list of game. Hours of operations 1pm-midnight. This arcade still runs on coins from what I can see.
Other option is the GSR (Grand Sierra Resort), the arcade is also fairly young in theme but does have laser tag. I would say about 80% of there machines are ticket games from when I was there a while back.
Other idea would be Boom Town, I have not been there in years but it typically had a large arcade area.
I did not stop by the Atlantis to look over the buffet but it has not changed in years and from what info I have gotten from others its the same as it has always been just a little more money. It has a good selection of food at a good quality.
I am going to try and contact people from each to get a better list of games if possible.
Again im sorry for having to drop out of trying to set this up.
