I want to rip a DVD on voice training (it's recently become available for free public use), and put it on my Kindle fire. Is this possible? How do I do it?
e: For clarification, I'm looking for some means to rip and then convert the video file to some kindle-friendly format.

As far as I'm aware there isn't an out of the box way to do it. The Kindle defaults the amazon video page when you click videos. If you uploaded the video to youtube though you could watch it via the web browser.
Handbrake is a great way to convert the films that you own into basic formats. I've been ripping my disks for a while for play on my iphone. Check that out.
