I don't think the look of the site will be that big of a deal. Seeing Will and Norm with some more funding will be pretty awesome though.
They did buy the site, so I'm not too surprised at how much they are rolling it into their brand.
Will and Norm will undoubtedly be the primary content producers for the website, I'm sure they'll get their deserved exposure (eventually). It's a weird transition period where the big names are using their starpower to show off their new thing

I'm sure whoever the higher ups are in this situation probably think it is for the best to introduce their fans to the new website and brand, and I hope that the backlash that this is sure to receive will give Will and Norm their proper credit.
The redesign is pretty eh but I understand the desire to get attention via Mythbusters since that show is pretty goddamn popular and has a very active online fanbase
but the video that is pretty much 50% Jamie and Adam and 50% Norm and Will makes me think everything'll be fine, they're just trying to drum up more traffic

this seems super skeezy because Tested.com wasn't just a product that can be re-branded it's like an expression of the personalities of the people who ran it
The weird thing is, I really like Adam and Jamie. They do great work and can be really entertaining. But this seems like they're just steamrolling Will and Norm, and glazing over all the blood, sweat, and tears they put in to building this site. They can't honestly tell me that some part of them isn't a bit resentful.
So, OK ... that was kind of my worst fear with Tested. Looks like it was totally a domain name grab and Will and Norm just managed to negotiate their job.

I think most people are going to do a 180 on the whole Tested got the better end of this thing. GB seems to still be GB but the tested thing just seems gross. Hope itll all turn out ok.
