MOTW 02/08/2012 - Because he's my father, you idiot.
Batman and Robin #6 is a pretty great issue, Damian's characterization is finally getting closer to the previous volume, and looking forward to Nobody vs Batman finally.
Wolverine and the X-Men #5 is just such a fun issue, I love all the kids' characterizations and am really interested in where they are going with Angel. Doop was fantastic as a substitute teacher. Poor Toad though
Green Lantern #6 gives us a glimpse of the future?
Venom 13.1 continues the pace set by the previous issue, with Blackheart's Mirror minions preying on all the heroes weaknesses. I love Rulk and Venom military bros though.
"Ride or Die?" asked Goku
"Ride or Die" confirmed Dominic Toretto, as they took off to find the Dragon Balls in hopes of reviving their friend Sonic
I have thought Green Lantern has been straight awesome since Sinestro Corps Wars, with no major weakspots, although sometimes it is slower than others.
But today's issue was one of the best of Johns's entire run. I haven't been blown away by a single issue of a Geoff Johns book like that ever before. That was just fantastic, and a one-and-done as well. Kudos to you, Geoff Johns.

BaR is excellent. The last two issues have been outstanding.
I thought Resurrection Man was pretty awesome this week.
AND I've been reading the TPB of the old series that just came out, which has been a lot of fun. I am all about this character now.
Though the production value of the TPB is a little spotty. Some of the pages have been a little blurry, and there was a two-page spread that was on the front and back of the same page.
Batman and Robin, and WatXm were both really good, it was a fairly solid week all around. Since beaten to everything else tho, I got a kick out of
New Mutants #37
The Devil, helping you live longer so you can screw up!
A nice mostly Done in One, Amara ( and back at home the New Mutants as well) are all freaking out over how this is all some big con by the Devil, and poor guy just wants some company, Evil =/= Celibate!
Saw this on Scans Daily and I think it's cool enough to be here. It's from this week's Incredible Hulk, showing exactly who and how Hulk and Banner are currently separated.
on one hand Aaron actually writes a pretty damn good Hulk and the idea that Hulk holds all of Banner's base emotions(rage of course but also basic empathy and kindness and the such) so when the two are separated Banner basically becomes a super scientist with no moral compass is a good story hook.
But it launched a month, if not shorter, after Pak's 5-year run wrapped up, which ended with Hulk and Bruce finally being at peace with one another.
I realize Hulk is a tragic character at his core and will always have bad shit happening to him. That is just how his character works. But they really didn't take nearly enough time off and kind of shit all over Pak's run.
So I guess I think it is a pretty good Hulk story, but not when put into the context it is.

Scarlet Spider #2, Kaine's not Spider-Man. And then he goes all Sidekicks on the villain, because Sidekicks was filmed in Houston!
I read the first few issues of the new Ghost Rider book with the female Ghost Rider, and it just seemed like such a letdown after the greatness of Jason Aaron Ghost Rider. But I still don't like Danny Ketch, either.

Hrrrgh no beholder eyes work like that hrrrrgh
Did anyone else think "Hammer time!"?
Yup
BaR is excellent. The last two issues have been outstanding.
It was cool to see Superboy meet Supergirl, although some of the exposition there has me worried about the direction of the entire Superman line.
Batwoman was neat. I like Reeder's art just as much as JHIII's, and the issue moved much faster than the first five.
This.
Also Secret Avengers was really fun. I want to see Henry Pym back in a big team role, though.

Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)

It's like i'm really reading Dinosaur Comics on paper
New Mutants has been good but that was a great issue, and makes me concede another arc to DnA and Lopez.
What do you mean? What alternate text? I didn't notice anything.
it's a new new fantastic four
Venom : Spider-Man
X-23 : Wolverine
Red Hulk : Hulk
Lady Ghost Rider : Ghost Rider
But yes, it is
And Lady Ghost Rider is actually quite fun
You're confused, the Frightful Four were Medusa, Sandman, Paste Pot Pete, and The Wizard.
A little yeah. Like I said, fun though.
I am sure there was some non-fantastic four with Spidey, Wolverine, Hulk and Ghost Rider.
Yes, they were called the New Fantastic Four, which is what Anti said.
It's the new lady, like people have said
But Johnny is in the comic as well
And acting like a boss
Read the very bottom of same pages
Jason Aaron's Ghost Rider does for Ghost Rider what Immortal Iron Fist did for Danny Rand. That is pretty much the highest praise I can give a comic.
but the new series wasn't bad either, just average.
More like a new Hearts of Darkness with Venom taking the Punisher's place.

Remender has said as much and they are exactly modern versions of their line-up
Hulk is Hercules, Lady Ghostrider is Angel, Venom is Black Widow, and X-23 is Ghostrider.
Johnny Blaze is Iceman.
