There are some people here who I have just found out I have musical tastes in common with!
For instance
Did you know that I once spent a whole summer doing nothing but A) being depressed drinking triple-espresso-shot-topped-with-coffees and C) listening to Blueberry Boat on endless repeat?
And also that Amadou and Miriam are fantastic live? (I don't have any dumb story to go with that one, sorry)
"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN
Mother fuckin' Patrick Wolf what-what. I really wanted to like his latest album, but I just couldn't get into it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Boyl6Iaw2Y4
I do love this song, though. A fucking lot.
Here is a song by Animal Faces, a Toronto post-hardcore band that is ridiculously good:
They're touring this summer with Bandera, who are also ridiculously good, and everyone ever should see their shows if they stop by your town.
Aw damn that was great I'm going to have to check those guys out. And since they're from Toronto they might actually stop by my town.
Kind of the same vein but not really at all but I was hanging with some friends last night and this came on shuffle and it was excellent because I forgot how much I loved this song.

I would like to express how awesome Chris Lake is, if you like house music you should definitely subscribe to his podcast. Great way to find new hot tracks

If there's any album I could listen to on eternal repeat, it would be Blueberry Boat. The two acts below opened the last Furnaces tour, and they are very good:
