Question: Did Oddworld Stranger's Wrath ever get that HD texture update that we were promised to get when the console versions were released, or were they just blowing smoke up our collective ass?
eh the ending wasn't spectacular or anything. The story was handled fairly well though and it was a step up from the narrative of the last few Call of duty games. Greatest ending in History though? Sometimes I wonder where they get the people to answer questions like this.
The cynical part of me whispers that they might be trolling to generate page hits, but what do I know, I still haven't even made it halfway through Black Ops before getting bored.

A quick look at the website for Stranger's Wrath HD brought up this little tidbit.
So, I just submitted my thesis for printing. In roughly six hours from now I can go fetch it and hand it in.
Now, I just came home from uni where I submitted it. I log into Steam, and what do I see?
Out of nowhere, the ever classy @Iolo gifted me The Longest Journey! In his gift text, he likened it to a thesis, since a thesis also takes ages to finish
So, I download the classy mudcrab mod, and also a mod that gives me a mudcrab pet in my home. So I had a classy mudcrab pet, and it was adorable. However, someone just Suddenly bursts into my home, wild and crazy, trying to attack. I have NO IDEA WHY....but...but He killed my Classcrab before I could put an arrow in his face.
Today I mourn.

Anyone know whether Amazon's download version of Borderlands GOTY activates on Steam? I was fairly certain that it did, but I don't see any mention of it on the product page.
They shouldn't even have "Best ___" categories. Best Something is not a world record.
Have you looked at a Guiness Book of World Records within the last 15 years or so? They're a joke. I remember when they were thick, dense tomes of actual records. No longer.
I guess you gotta branch out when you end up making records like "most marshmallows stuffed in mouth in 60 seconds while riding unicycle on a tightrope."
Ok, I don't know how it works, but all out of the blue @lolo just gifted me a copy of Borderlands GOTY edition.
I'm in a mixture of excitement and dazziness. I guess it is all explained by saying he is a true gentleman, and his classiness know no boundaries.

Ah, well that explains why I couldn't see it. Has it ever been that cheap on Steam? I'd like to pick it up sometime since I enjoyed it on the 360, even though I was pretty terrible using a controller for a fps.

I don't think MW2 has ever been this low on Steam.
is the games of thrones genesis worth the 10$? normally i like the idea of a RTS or TBS but the king arthur collection is going unplayed.
The general consensus is that they butchered a very good series. Shame too as I really like the series. I don't think I've heard a good thing said about the game... EVER. That says something. heh. Oh well, as long as GRRM doesn't take 5 years on the next book I'm ok:)

Finally got that new computer. So fast, so responsive.... so many things that need downloading! Ended up compromising a bit on the build as some parts ended up more expensive than I thought, but it came in at budget, and everything seems to be working.
