Er...what is it? It looked vaguely PA-Adventures like the other day, but the Steam Store appears to be down right now, so I can't dig up some detail.
P.B. WInterbottom is basically a much less pretentious version of Braid, in that it's essentially a puzzle game that initially appears to be a platformer. It's well worth checking out for that price, unless (like me) you're not a fan of that type of game.

Abuse the power of time-travel for the sole purpose of obtaining pie.
I can vouch for PB Winterbottom. It isn't quite as long as braid (Whenever I get around to finishing the last level I will probably clock in between two and three hours), but it works off the braid formula. Each world has a special gimmick and you use a "recorded clone" gimmick to solve the puzzles.
The humor is really fun and I think this is a sweet price for the game. Plus it has the best plot: You are a pie thief! There is a magic pie that is causing problems with time/space! BUT YOU MUST HAVE IT! Plus the game is narrated in a "silent movie" style and most of it rhymes.

Considering this time period is the only time during the week where I get my FPS fix I have the right to whine.
I can sympathize with you if Steam was down for an extended period of time, but it's down for 5 minutes and you're all Grrr and stuff already?
That's at least one kill!

For some reason I always assumed PB Wintebottom was some kind of Professor Layton knockoff. Now you people are telling me it's a less pretentious Braid?
BOUGHT'd!
Ah, it stinks, it sucks, it's anthropologically unjust

Then again, I am behaving Goosey so I apologize. I get Grr and Stuff when Steam shits the bed causing me my multiplayer not to work so I shouldn't have jumped on ya. It's a reflex action I think, due to people loving to bash Steam, and I personally, Love Steam for all that it provides me, and with what little hassle I receive from them. But yes, Down times is a pain in the ass. And the "Store is being hammered" is quite interesting, as it's been severely hammered during the big sales and hadn't seen that message pop up before.
There is snow outside and it's dark and I've been working all day and rode my bike home through the snow and now Steam is broken and I'm getting bored browsing Reddit.

Getting started with BATTLETECH: Part 1 / Part 2
This does sound very intriguing. Braid was not my thing. But this sounds pretty good.
Someone call the fucking National Guard. I think we have a problem.
Seriously, state of emergency time. (I just got home, had an odd desire to re-play ME2.. RANDOM FUCKING ERRORS, come check thread)
Probably not.
You son of a goose. You broke Steam!

I can't sign into friends, can't buy anything...can't even check the Steam forums to see how long shit will be down for!
This can't be happenin', man!
This is inadvisable.
I'm activating emergency protocols GoG and Desura.
Edit: The store and the forums, anyway. Still can't sign into friends.

No, we're not going outside, dammit.
