I got a popover pan at goodwill today. $3 for a brand new unopened package NordicWare pan which retails for $30. So many noms are going to be had tomorrow. I'm pissed that I missed out on a canning kettle that a buddy told me was there but I'm quite satisfied with my new pan, hell I may even make a batch of Yorkshire Pudding for the first time sense the great pudding accident of '09
Moreso he's referring to the fact that its a semiautomatic semi-internalized magazine fed shotgun. People especially those who are not familiar with pump actions have a really really reaaaaaally fucking bad habit of fucking up horribly under stress even on something as simple as a pump. I'll push someone towards a simple semi if they aren't familiar with a pump because under duress its easier to just press button receive buckshot then to hit safety, slide release, rack, receive buckshot.
It sounds stupid as hell but its something I've seen on several occasions during classes, range trips, and demos where a unfamiliar shooter struggles for a bit before they calm down and work out the issue. Now granted how you store the pump changes that because you could in theory just have it ready to roll or rack it and its set but again for unfamiliar shooters who think "oh I'll just get a pump and thats that" and don't put any time on its a issue. Its a potato patatoe thing really because it depends on the person and how willing they are to become attuned to their new toy for some people a pump is the best as they will GP it for a little bit of everything and become familiarized to it that way and others could care less and will buy something, load it, stick it in a corner, and expect it to work when they absolutely need it and expect themselves to be able to work it under stress without any issues.
TLDR: A Pump action is like a cock, go give lots of handjobs in a back alley so your familiar with the action.
Anybody else like the new maps in MW3? It seems like almost every game they come up, but aside from Parish on Ground War (which is not a good idea) they're pretty fun. Gulch in particular is a pretty fast-paced map that's fun to look at. They put a lot of detail into Boardwalk too, and it reminds me of Bootleg with 3 paths of various cover.
I haven't played a lot of the new ones. Parish is a clusterfuck. Even in FFA, people were literally spawning touching each other. Someone in party mentioned just using a Steady Aimed LMG, and I wholeheartedly endorse this idea.
I just want this game. I want to hold it and love it. I'm gonna put on some Barry White when I first insert it into my PS3. It'll be a sexual experience. Then I will play it 20 hours straight and call in sick for work.

One thing I loved about the bots is that it pulled names from your friends list and if they had any blops data (clan tag, emblem) it would actually use that as well.

I used to be pretty bad at CoD. I would get frustrated and just quit playing MP. I stuck with it, and started playing MW3 with PA dudes and I feel like I'm just above average at it now.
MW3's support strike packages also helped me learn how to just say "fuck it" and have fun playing CoD.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
So if I pick up blops again you guys gonna be available to play this time?
I doubt many of us will go back to Blops until ~1month before Blops 2 release. I mean, we might go back for a night or two in the month or so, but we will probably keep spending more time in MW3 than in Blops until almost release day.

Still dislike that game more than MW3. Only thing I like over MW3 is that the default maps don't suck but that doesn't really matter because the DLC ones do.
Also what I prefer objective based games since my K/D is somewhere between 0 and .4
How? Like are we talking TDM or FFA? Because I can see that at times with all the connection bullshit and bad spawns but at some point you kinda figure out how not to die as much. I mean I think that I could use my controller as a buttplug and play using only rectal spasms and still get a higher K/D then .4 I mean I would have to be quickscoping but still...
If your PTFO'ing and just slow down a hair its easy as pie to just curbstomp kids, hang back and find a nice spot to cover a high traffic area to a point and then play Gandalf.
And let your team work closer up on the objective and thats an easy high KDR game.
I just spent most of 10 games of Drop Zone going negative and winning more than half the games with my former coworker and friend. To put into perspective how easy CoD is he had a stroke a couple of months ago and still managed to lead the lobby once and maintain his .5 K/D.

BLOPS2 announced on the WiiU. Looks like we can all finally switch over to the superior version of the game!
I kid, I kid. I know everyone will buy it on the 360. Still, the split-screen option of 2 friends playing on one console (1 using the TV, the other the tablet) did look pretty cool.

Its probably a safe bet that it will be in BLOPS2, I believe it was a pretty popular thing in BLOPS.

Ehh, it doesn't matter so much how hard the game is. Anytime you pick up a game, you're unlikely to immediately be an expert player.
