What has it gots in its pocketses?

Here's a bunch of stuff I carry around with me, pretty much all the time:



Carabiner keychain with: 16GB Flash drive, Swisstech utilikey, Leatherman Squirt PS4, 4Sevens Qmini AA, bunch of keys
Wallet (Want to replace this with a Big Skinny wallet)
TMobile G2 (Need a smartphone with a keyboard)
Skullcandy Earbuds (cheapo, but fairly durable)


Nike Messenger Bag (it's ugly, but holds a lot and is pretty sturdy)
Timex Carabiner Watch (utilitarian, I like that I can flip the face upside down so I can just glance down to check the time)



Inside the bag I keep this leather case (it's supposed to be an art portfolio, but it fits my laptop well enough and is quite sturdy)



Also inside the bag -

Telescoping Umbrella (fits nicely into the outer bag pocket, so I just keep it with me at all times)
Notebook and mechanical pencil (I keep all of my work and freelance info in here)
Kneaded Eraser (always handy for art stuff, doubles as tack and a sticky base for balancing things on)
Dell Latitude XT Tablet PC (for sketching and drawing and web development stuff)
5pin Micro USB cable (lets me charge my phone via my laptop, and I can tether the phone so my laptop can surf the net anywhere)
Lighter (I don't smoke, but fire can be handy)
Micro fibre cloth and glasses cleaner (SO USEFUL)
Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX (only laptop mouse with flywheel scrolling, can't use anything else)
Leatherman C33x knife (Cheapo utility knife, usually tucked into the outer bag pocket for easy access)


Outerwear - aside from my jacket, I've had these on whenever I go out

North Face Space Gloves (well, some guy on the bus called them "Space Hloves", the finger tips are conductive so I can use my phone without taking off my gloves)
Hat cap thingy (Keeps my ears warm and has a brim so I can pull it low and sleep while I'm on the bus. I love this hat!)
Scarf (it is a scarf)

I carry my phone (Droid Incredible 2), my car keys, and my wallet

Usually I just carrying around my wallet, square reader (which I started just sticking in my wallet) iphone, keys with bottle opener, and sunglasses

I carry my wallet, my keys, my phone, and some gloves if it's actually cold out.

No need for a bag every day, just a nice coat with some pockets.

Also, I've never understood how people can keep their wallet in their back pocket. So uncomfortable to sit on.

I have the standard wallet, phone and keys, but I also keep a spare key to my car in my back pocket

I've somehow wound up with a lot of keys, they're all on a fake carabiner attached to a real one


I don't know why I have two, but now it's tradition so I can't get rid of it

I used to carry a messenger bag around with me before I drove/had a car. I didn't even keep things in it; I just had it in case I needed to carry stuff

now I just throw things in my car and forget about it

- phone extra charge dongle
- 2 pill cases (one has meds, other had ibuprofen/tylenol/etc)
- makeup stuffs (foundation, brow powder/brush, oil sheet things)
- hand lotion
- carmex
- dice
- 1-3 pens
- tampons and panty liners (usually have a few with me)

My wallet is now kinda shaped like the curve of my arse thanks to sitting on it for so long. That helps.

Keys, cards loosely shoved in the pocket of whatever coat I'm wearing (I'll need to get a new wallet by this spring), usually have a backpack with my motorola Xoom, and some coil bound notebooks, iphone, and my work blackberry. The weeks that I'm on-call I have a 3rd phone for that as well.

I used to have a swiss army knife that I put in my pocket every morning at the same time as my keys, until I did so last Friday before leaving for the airport to go to Toronto. I didn't realize my mistake until I was in the security lineup, so I just handed it over when it was my turn to go through. I liked that knife.
