    Cylon Raiders
3 Distance, -2 Fuel, Deploy 3 Raiders in sector 4

    Crossroads Phase

Set up Battle of the Ionian Nebula

One basestar deployed in sector 2, another in sector 3
Four Raiders in sector 2, another four in sector 3. This removes 3 Raiders from CFB sector 4 as there are not enough pieces to place on the main game board
Two vipers launch in sector 6, another 2 in sector 5

Starbuck, how would you like the vipers allocated? You've got 3 super vipers available

    Jump Track resets to Start

Dealing a Crossroads card to each player. Everyone will put one of their trauma tokens on their card to indicate their choice. This trauma will be discarded before resolving the Trial/Boxing the Line. Starbuck can pick either outcome as she has no trauma.

    Current trauma totals are:
    • Six - 3
    • Cain - 3
    • Kat - 2
    • Tory - 3
    • Cally - 3
    • Starbuck - 0

Once everyone's made their choice cards will be resolved in turn order starting with Starbuck. After Crossroards cards have been resolved someone may be eliminated. If Six has 3 or more Benevolent tokens she's in danger, as well as any human with 3 or more Antagonistic.

Yup, it's not going to take much to screw us out of that last fuel...
However, if we are lucky, we could make it... Just need lots of jump preps...

Yep I'll fiddle with the sheet in a few hours. Things are a little precarious for the fleet right now.

Updated to a new version and left the destination on Kobol since Ionian Nebula stuff doesn't matter after crossroads. Everything looks right.

Now if only I can manage to jump in the fleet one last time...
But this is assuming Crossroads turns out okay.

    FelixSomethingSomethingFelixSomethingSomething Registered User regular
The board setup at crossroads does screw up the CFB a bit. Sometimes the Cylons can work it to jump in via a bridge activation right after, but I guess there's plenty of ships on the board anyway. They just get put a little out of the way.

Eh, I guess it doesn't matter when a single raider activation at this point wipes out FIVE civilians, and it's my turn next. :)
Just like the infamous "nuke the aft and reveal" strategy~

EDIT: Oh, and isn't there a "population + fuel" civilian in there?

Oh boy, here we go. I'll sort out trauma drawing and discarding at the end

    Starbuck
    Testimony
Forgiven: Choose another player. That player discards 2 random Skill Cards and may discard 2 trauma tokens.
Scapegoat: Choose another player. That player draws 2 Skill Cards and must draw 2 trauma tokens.
Six draws 2 Skill Cards and 2 trauma tokens

    Six
    Strange Music
Nothing But Static: You must choose a player and look at all of his Loyalty Cards. Then discard 1 trauma token.
I Hear It: Shuffle 1 “You Are Not a Cylon" card into the Loyalty deck. Then choose a human player to draw 1 Loyalty Card. Each Cylon player draws a trauma token.
Six looks at Cally's Loyalty cards and discards a trauma

    Cain
    The Opera House
The Opera House Revealed: Draw 3 trauma tokens. Then choose another player to also draw 3 trauma tokens.
The Door is Shut: There is no effect.
Cain and Cally draw 3 trauma each

    Kat (here's the good one!}
    Miraculous Return
I Believe: +1 morale. If any vipers have been destroyed, move 1 destroyed viper to the “Reserves". Then activate raiders twice.
It's a Trick: -1 morale. Draw a civilian ship to destroy. Then choose one basestar on the main game board and damage it.
Morale increases to 9, one super viper repaired

    Activate Raiders #1
    Civilians destroyed:
    • F: 1 Pop
    • L: 1 Pop
    • A: 1 Pop
    • B: 1 Pop
    • E: 1 Pop
    Population drops to 2

    Activate Raiders #2
Kat chooses the specific order, but the only one that matters is:
    • K: 2 Pop
Population drops to 0. However the humans don't lose until the end of the current turn so the crossroads phase does resolve completely

    Tory
    Perjury
Gain Sympathy: You must discard 2 random Skill Cards and may then discard 2 trauma tokens.
Cast Aspersions: You must draw 2 trauma tokens and may then draw 2 Skill Cards
    Tory discards 2 - Launch Scout, 2 - God's Plan and 2 trauma

    Cally
    Disturbing Vision
It Wasn't Real: Discard 2 trauma tokens and 2 random Skill Cards.
What Have You Done?: Each Cylon player draws 2 trauma tokens. Then the Admiral is immediately Executed.
Cally discards 2 - Consolidate Power, 2 - Jury Rigged and 2 trauma

    Trauma draws and discards incoming

For simplicity's sake and since the game is over, I'll do this face up and roll for draws on orokos

Initial trauma, after players have placed one on their crossroads card:
    • Starbuck - No trauma
    • Six - 1 Benevolent, 1 Antagonistic
    • Cain - 1 Benevolent, 1 Antagonistic
    • Kat - 0 Benevolent, 1 Antagonistic
    • Tory - 0 Benevolent, 2 Antagonistic
    • Cally - 1 Benevolent, 1 Antagonistic

Trauma token pool has 6 Benevolent and 9 Antagonistic to start. Tokens will be picked at random, starting at 1 for the Benevolent tokens and continuing into the Antagonistic tokens. Ex: To start with, 1-6 is Benevolent, 7-15 is Antagonistic.

    Six draws 2 trauma: 15p2 5, 14 1 of each
    Six's trauma - 2 Benevolent, 2 Antagonistic
    Six discards a Benevolent - 1 Benevolent, 2 Antagonistic

Pool is 6 Benevolent, 8 Antagonistic

    Cain draws 3 trauma: 14p3 7, 4, 12 1 Benevolent, 2 Antagonistic
    Cain's trauma - 2 Benevolent, 3 Antagonistic

Pool is 5 Benevolent, 6 Antagonistic
    Cally draws 3 trauma: 11p3 6, 3, 4 2 Benevolent, 1 Antagonistic
    Cally's trauma - 3 Benevolent, 2 Antagonistic

Tory discards 2 Antagonistic - No trauma left

    Cally discards 2 Antagonistic - 3 Benevolent, 0 Antagonistic

    Final trauma totals:
    • Starbuck - No trauma
    • Six - 1 Benevolent, 2 Antagonistic
    • Cain - 2 Benevolent, 3 Antagonistic
    • Kat - 0 Benevolent, 1 Antagonistic
    • Tory - No trauma
    • Cally - 3 Benevolent, 0 Antagonistic

Any Cylons with more than 2 Benevolent are in trouble, as are any Humans with more than 2 Antagonistic. Looks like... Cain is the only one, with 3 Antagonistic.

    stever777 is eliminated

And if the turn's crisis had the potential to give back a population the game might have continued, but...
Temple of the Five - 9PB:
Pass: The current player may draw 2 Skill Cards
Fail: Decrease the Jump Preparation track by 1

    Launch Raiders

    No such luck

    Cylons Win
    Except Cain...
    And Six...
    I guess Kat Wins

    Cain I hope you're a Cylon.

    FelixSomethingSomethingFelixSomethingSomething Registered User regular
So, what were people's loyalties you ask?

    Six
Prove their Worth - Humans Win AND at least 5 raptors/vipers are damaged or destroyed

    Cain
Initial: You Are a Cylon - Can Send a Character to the Brig
Sleeper: Final Five - Whoever Examines this Card is Sent to the 'Brig'

    Kat
Initial: You Are a Cylon - Can Send a Character to Sickbay
Sleeper: Personal Goal - Devastation: Admiral has no Remaining Nuke Tokens (else -1 Morale)

    Tory
Initial: You are NOT a Cylon
Sleeper: Final Five - If this Card is Examined, You are Executed

    Cally
Initial: Final Five - If this Card is Examined, Cylon Ships are Activated
Sleeper: You are NOT a Cylon

    Starbuck
Initial: You are NOT a Cylon
Sleeper: You are NOT a Cylon
Gaius Baltar ally: You are NOT a Cylon

Alright so I just realized that Six looking at Cally's loyalty for her Crossroads card would have set it off. That activates Raiders, Heavy Raiders and Basestars shoot. The point is the humans die

Sooo yes indeed, both Cylons active since the start of the game! And I was very amused by Six pretending to frak over the humans when she really just wanted some vipers blown up. That was a short game at only 18 turns!

Edit: To clarify on stever777 getting eliminated, it's revealed cylons that worry about Benevolent (including non-infiltrating Leaders) and humans and infiltrating Leaders that worry about Antagonistic. Even though Cain was a cylon, since she wasn't revealed yet the Antagonistic still counted against her.

With the activations from Cally's Final Five card the raiders would blow up civilian J in sector 1 as well. That was your 1 Fuel 1 Pop ship, so humans lose both on Fuel and Population. Cain's choice of destination plus Kat getting that specific Crossroads card meant there were raiders positioned to destroy 6 civilians without any opposition. That was just... that was terrible for the humans.

They brigged me and then stole all my Skill Cards AND THEN REPAIRED ALL THE VIPERS! What was I supposed to do?
And both Cylons were really around from the beginning? Huh. Also the Cylons got pretty lucky, except Cain~ >_>

You did all you could really, just six the fleet on the humans. With Six's drawback of discarding to activate ships that was a painful one to get, especially since the fleet was pretty lazy this game.

Anyway it's far too late/early here so I'm going to get some sleep. I hope you all had fun (I know I did) and if anyone has questions about how that all played out ask away. I'm moving soon and my computer access is uncertain so I may run another of these in about a month unless I don't have the means to. Thanks for playing guys!

Thanks for running the game, was loads of fun.
I knew that we were going to get hit badly soon and it was unlikely we would win but that crossroads phase was blindingly bad for the humans.

I never thought Six was friendly, so well played on that.

Glad Cain got executed... As admiral she got us into a lot of trouble.... Which is what she was supposed to do being a cylon...

So Cain, why did you Blind Jump when the entire fleet was out and set to wreak havoc?

Thank you for the game Mr Gaeta Felix.
Now I can claim firmly that I WIN THE GAME( always want to say that out loud :p )

I think cylons are really luck with card drawing in this game. I have a Scout for fuel right after the first jump and I kept it until now. I was planning for jail breaking with this card and critical situation.

Cain did a good job in blending, I never suspect her being a cylon. In fact I though I was the only one (not counting six). First I was suspecting SB, but then... well just couldn't figure it out.

The cross road was just a disastrous for human side :)

    Thanks for running this Felix!

Well played stever, you were pretty low on my suspicion list, but I knew if it was you, we were pretty boned.
Tel, I felt bad that you didn't get to do much. I think I was the first to call for your brigging, but it wasn't like we had any other option at the time.

overall, I don't think I like ionian nebula, esp combined with the cylon fleet. seems like one or the other for a more balanced game.

Great game and thx for running it Felix.

Exodus has made it harder for the humans, but I guess the lesson is to clear out the civilians before you head into the nebula.

So, umm, I didn't win, right?

    Telnaior wrote: »

I was jump-crazy, always looking to get a chance to dump fuel.
Also, made me look really Human.

My first dest choice, which set me on the fuel-dumping path, was -

    "Cylon Ambush - 3 Distance, -1 Fuel
Deploy Basestar and 3 Raiders in sector 1, 3 civilians in sector 4

    Lion's Head Nebula - 3 Distance -4 Fuel
After the Reset Jump Preparation Track step of this jump, advance the Jump Prep Track by 2"

Of course, I chose the latter.
If you can get more fuel spent than dist gained, you're doing pretty well.
Generally, a 1-to-1 ratio is OK for Humans, as you prob know.
