Hey guys, remember that video package with Cena working with those rookies that was shown early in the PPV?

Former ROH star Tyler Black, who has been working under the name Seth Rollins in WWE developmental, appeared in the John Cena video package that aired during the Elimination Chamber PPV. Black and several other developmental wrestlers and NXT rookies were in a gym working out with Cena in a hype video for Cena's WrestleMania 28 match against The Rock.

Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett got me interested in the WHC EC match. It seemed almost like Wade was having flashbacks to his bareknuckle days and Cody thought he was in the game Double Dragon.

Also got a kick out of Big Show going after the last twinkie on earth in D-Brine's pod.

edit: Forgot to mention that WWE had me thinking Santino actually had a chance to win for a couple minutes there.

There was a part of me that wanted him to win. I was slightly disappointed that Bryan retained. Even though it does mean we get to see him fight Sheamus at 'mania.

I mentioned it in the last thread I think, but Santino could easily be booked with his MMA background taken into account. Keep him the same out of the ring, but in ring he brutalizes people. Match ends, Trombone time.

So for Mania we've got: Rock/Cena, Bryan/Sheamus for WHT, Kharma/Beth for Diva's title, Punk/Jericho for WWE title, and HHH/Taker for sure. Maybe they'll throw in some more guys for the WHT match. My hopefull add-ons are Cody/Santino for IC, Swagger/Kofi for US, and I guess a tag title match but I can't imagine who would face the Colons. Still all in all it sounds like an excellent card on paper but we'll see of course.

Sometimes, although when he took out Big Show tonight, the crowd was not happy. And after Santino pinned him and the crowd was cheering, he promptly put an end to it. Listening to the reaction, I'd say the crowd was quite cross.

Also despite being for the most part squashed I hope they give Gabriel more to do. Maybe he should find a new tag partner and go after the Colons. The matches would be good at least.

They would still involve the Colons though.
I would kill to see the WWE put some genuine focus on a tag division again, I can think of a bunch of mid or lower card guys who could make good tandems and really bolster a tag division given the chance.

I don't see what the problem with the Colons is. Even if you don't find them interesting both of them are pretty good in the ring.

Also Dyvim you never answered my question about your opinion on Okada winning the IWGP title. Or if you did I missed it.

I understand the amount of legit credible teams is small, but still. The Usos did more last year to earn a title shot than the Colons, yet the Colons win the belts their very first shot, and at a house show no less. It was just a complete middle finger to the Usos, who had worked their butts off for a year, and they gave the belts to the Colons, when Primo had been a jobber to everybody on Superstars ever since Carlito left, and the other they had just recently signed to compensate for the fuck up that was Sin Cara.

Granted, since then they've proved they're great wrestlers, but still, it upsets me that when they had to get the belts off Bourne and Kofi, they gave it to a team that hadn't really earned it at least on TV, and not a team that had.

they didn't win on their very first shot, they lost at least one title match before that house show

the usos can barely synchronize their entrance, and the colons at least have the advantage of a manager that's nice to look at (and the usos have spent about as much time on the tv as the colons have anyways, if not less)

complaining that they gave a tag title to primo before giving any title to barrett is asinine

Well they already added Bryan vs. Sheamus for the WHT official on WWE.com tonight. So unless they add on to it in the coming weeks it's a one-on-one match.

Assuming you mean Primo as the Tag champion now, you forget that Wade held the IC last year. Primo held the Tag belts before Wade showed up, in 2008, with Carlito (Wade was in WWE in 2010).

They'll probably have Bryan and Orton feud after Mania to keep up with the concussion angle

Orton is guaranteed not wrestling until at least next Tuesday (he apparently goes back to the hospital for re-evaluation next Monday night, so that Tuesday is the earliest he can be cleared to wrestle, and that's if he doesn't still show symptoms)

I just don't want them to add to the Bryan/Sheamus match because I think those two can have a fantastic one on one match, especially at Mania, and they already got screwed out of that last Mania
