If it was ROH presents Wrestlemania Pwnan would be in love.
Because I'm always praising ROH and their stupid fucking business practices. Though with the number of false finishes tonight...

Taker/HHH was the only high point of this entire pants-on-head fucking retarded PPV. And now I'm going to go put out a bounty on Michael Cole for saying "it was the greatest WrestleMania of all time." Bring me his head.
I think they Sheamus thing just set a tone that was impossible to overcome. It wasn't a bad show and at least the main was a clean finish thank fuck. Crowd was good when it needed to be.

Well, it's booking 101. If you have a full-time guy, and a guy who is only coming back for one match, then the full-time guy has to put over the other guy for the good of the business.

You do realize this might lead to some positive Cena character development right? And it's not like losing to Rock hurts his status or anything.

I understand that people are mad about the last match
But damn even I'm not
They built up to it for a year
One of the guys is a celebrity now
And half the buildup was how they would be in the celebrity's hometown
It seemed plain as day to me that things would end the way they did
It seemed plain to you that the booked finish would be The Rock countering a taunt for a finish so devastating that Cena would be back on his feet in like five seconds?

Especially since Cena will still be around for another 3+ years. So what he lost one.

Look all I'm saying is people are sick of Super Cena and him winning everything in the end. This time he didn't. And the loss might drive him to change his gimmick/character some which is a GOOD THING.

I wouldn't say Mania was terrible honestly, there were a good portion of the matches that I liked, there was just enough dumb stuff to drag the cool stuff down.
"Go down, kick ass, and set yourselves up as gods, that's our Prime Directive!"

Are you some kind of insane wizard?
I meant the guy who won winning
Although it helped that they had him act like a dick before getting what he deserved, that was a nice touch
HURRY UP EVILBADMAN, AND CROWN ME RIGHTFUL CHAMP BEFORE THE THREAD ENDS (or don't if you don't want to, that's cool too i don't mind waiting)

Developing towards what? Something bigger than the biggest PPV they've ever done? Wrestlemania is a place for the pay off, not the development.
Really, the World Title "match" soured the entire show for me. Hell in a Cell and the WWE title match were good, everything else was largely awful.
I think 24 is the last "great" mania still, but it was certainly better than last year's that's for sure.

You think John stepped up and said "I want to lose?"
I mean, hearing all the stuff about him, it seems like something he would do.
The crowd obviously wanted it, and that's what he has in mind more than anything else (its not like this is going to hurt his chances at winning 8 more championships or anything).

I knew I should have switched picks in the main. But I'm lazy.
Yeah, no way Rock would agree to come back to headline WM and then job in his hometown. I'm just kinda surprised we didn't see any hint of what they're doing moving forwards. Like Lesnar running in and F5'ing both guys.
Although looking at the length of the ramp, probably a good reason for not having any run-ins tonight.

I'm not saying it will be something bigger than Mania but Cena desperately needs something fresh to latch onto and this might be it.
If he comes out tomorrow and acts like nothing is wrong I'll be pissed.
I'm not bothered about who won. I'm bothered that it was a completely forgettable match. After a year of build up, that's it? If that's the effort he's going to put in, I hope The Rock never comes back.
And besides the WWE needs something hot (besides Brock) to carry their shows after Mania. Cena changing his character would be just that because he hasn't done it since 2005.
Hence the problem with Cena right now and how stale he is.

Actually, WM has rarely had a lot of payoff.
For example, just from last Mania, there was:
Taker/Hunter 2, which didn't solve things and led to a rematch tonight
Miz/Cena hosted by Rock, which didn't solve much and led up to a match between Cena and Rock tonight
Cole/Lawler, which didn't solve things and led to 3 more matches or so

you are right, an entire music genre is completely terrible.
Nope, all the work of the likes of Gangstarr and MF DOOM are undone because Flo Rida exists.
