I'm not able to reliably cause biotic explosions/combos. I'll accept that at least 80% of it is general incompetence on my part but...
With my Asari Adept, I'll bubble up someone, toss a shockwave their way and *sometimes* I'll see in the kill message that it was a combo explosion that kills the bad man rather than power A or power B.
For giggles, I tried shooting right after firing off the shockwave, thinking maybe bullet + shockwave hitting warp bubble simultaneously = BOOM, but that yielded inconclusive results.
I played several games over the weekend with PA'ers (Hi! Thanks for carrying my dead weight) and asked them about the discrepancy. And I'm 100% sure that they are way, way more knowledgeable about how things work in the ME universe - but noone could tell me how to get the combos to go boom in a reliable fashion.
Yeah I'm going to rock the Defender armour for sure, it comes with origin pre-order in these here parts.
I'm curious to see what that tanky suit looks like on femshep. I'm not sure if I'll be a fan either way. My shepards, male and female, wear form fitting armor. They don't spend all that time at the gym just to cover the hard work with something that offers real defenses. If looking good means I've got to take a hit on armor bonuses, well, I guess that just means I'll have to play better.
She'll look like Samus with the right color pattern.
And this is shamelessly stolen from SE++
And with that, I think I'm sincerely out for the next week. The risk of some asshat spoiling something major, somewhere is going to be quite high.
We shall meet again when the quads have aligned.

One thing I really hope they fixed for the final MP product is the hit detection, it's a bit wonky.

It's really annoying when you're standing right on top of a guy and you can't rez them because you apparently aren't in the "sweet spot." I hope that's fixed.
I'm hoping that there are points for resurrecting team mates and also disabling doodads. Sucks being the wine helping out the team ost and you get squat for it.

You do get points for doing those things
but the main reward is that by doing the objectives and keeping your team alive you actually finish the match

While you definitely get points for disabling/enabling devices, there doesn’t seem to be a points reward for rezzing allies, outside of the 5/10/whatever medals.

Exactly my thoughts. You all earn the same XP and cash in the end anyway. I know that the cloaked infiltrator is doing all of the objective work while the rest of us are acting as decoys. Good on them.

Yeah. I hate when I have to run double duty though.
...there doesn’t seem to be a points reward for rezzing allies, outside of the 5/10/whatever medals.
There's a 250 XP (or cash) bonus to the person who rezzes, and there might be another bonus for rezzing 5 teammates in a round.
Ah, is there? That's cool. I've assumed that there is no bonus for rezzing because it isn't displayed on the status bar in the bottom right, whereas bonuses awarded for capturing objectives, etc is displayed there.
And you definitely get a further bonus for rezzing 5 people.

Ashely won't be hung up on you getting your freak on after becoming zombie cyborg Shepard. I mean, it's probably a good thing to test out your new body on a more disposable romance option. She's a Specter now, and been doing her own thing for a while, grown up a bit more. At least I hope most of the characters can be adults about it. She seems much more hung up on the Cerberus thing.
Shep - "I had a one night stand before a suicide mission while working for Cerberus."
Ash - "I can't believe you slept with someone working for Cerberus."
Shep - "*I* was working for Cerberus at the time."
Ash - "Yeah, your Cerberus buddies are acting real sweet these days."
Shepard/Ross -"WE WERE ON A BREAK."
I don't know which save to play first.
It's all about the LI!
Do I go with snarky, jaded or cute?
The one where you cheated on Ashley with Tali.
HEY.
She blew me off on horizon, technically it wasn't cheating.
She also e-mailed an apology afterward. She still cares.
Still.
If your first reaction is anger when seeing someone you care for you thought was dead..
And your response to her anger was to seek solace in the arms of someone with a compromised immune system and whose face may or may not look like this?
HEY.
It wasn't from one day to the next. I'm sure the ME2 timeline is a few months.
Don't you dare question my moral integrity!

Two-man team, middle of wave 9, I was taking down a turret with my Tempest (crappy gun, don't use it, the recoil is ridiculous). The screen freezes, and sure enough, "Mass Effect 3 demo has stopped working". God fucking dammit. Bioware, award credits and XP after each wave, not at the end, so this is merely pretty annoying instead of massively irritating and rendering the last twenty minutes of play meaningless!

The thought process is probably to keep people from randomly dropping out of games after they get their XP/gold (especially if they are being douches or whatever) and encourage people to stick around for all the waves/not be a jackass.

What about the guy left dealing with a eliminate enemy targets wave of atlas + phantoms on his own?
Actually it was quite satisfying.

I just hope they fix their matchmaking system.
Once someone leaves your group, you're pretty much by yourself and the drop in/drop out function is so random.
Not to mention the game usually drops you right into the middle of enemy fire so you die as soon as you enter anyway.
I don't post in this thread that often so I don't know if this has been answered, but does anyone know how the save transfer from ME2 to ME3 is going to work? Is it just going to take the last save you made? I know from 1 to 2 it was easier to make since there was no post game but with 2 you can keep going. I'm just curious as I'm working on my canon ME2 run.

It's exactly what I'm doing in my ME3 prep run, so I'm not casting stones so much as sharing the guilt.
I would think Ashley -> Miranda would be worse. You go from banging the poster child for the Alliance to the poster child for Cerberus.
Ashley -> Miranda is pretty bad, but they're both human cheerleaders.
Ashley "I'm no fan of aliens" Williams -> Tali "So alien, just taking off my suit could kill me" vas Normandy? It's like cheating on your girl with her younger half sister.
You know I thought Tali was worth the LI as she's a decent "person".
But you seem to have committed premeditated spite?
geez man!

I tried a few times to blow it up the Stasis bubble with Warp, but it only worked once out of 5-6 tries, so I went back to Shockwave.
By "carefully timed" you mean that there's an arbitrary window that one must hit? Guess more testing is in order...
Also: All Vanguard silver runs are fun and profitable.
It should work all the time but I think stasis bubble is a bit buggy when it comes to explosions or not

Thane is a daddy issue, as is Samara.

Gotta admit though, if you look hard enough to can reduce anyone's problems to parental circumstances.
