I'm lucky in that friends have accepted that when I jungle, I do what I please. Lately, that's often come down to: "Can you manage top+jungler?" "Yeah" "Cool, I'll grab their jungler's shit."
I love jungling with good top-laners. But then again, I've trained most of my friends to understand that they are responsible for their own lane. Sure, I'll help if I can, but most of the time the team benefits more from me just plain shutting down their jungler. Though it also depends on Jungler. With Shyv I gank rarely, but generally to good effect. With Maokai I'll gank as much as I can, since Twisted advance is one of the best ganking tools in the game. And so on.
Sorc Shoes, Wit's End, Spirit Visage, Randuins, Frozen Heart, then if they have HP, Madred's and throw one item for Void Staff. But which item? I guess it depends on team comp, but if there's not much AD, ditch Randuins (especially if someone else has one)?
Wit's End. I'd only get Madreds+VS if no one on the enemy team has less than 1800hp, and you're drowning in gold; as in, you should have a full item set and then sell two items for MBR+VS.
Final build should be MBR+VS, Boots, four tank items, and you need 40% CDR between masteries, runes, items, and a blue elixer.
Flat CDR are typically the better bet, as CDs are normally much higher early game than late game and scaling CDR runes take a long time to pan out.
Dignitas just teamfought way better. Veigar and Trist's positioning was off, they got too close so Scarra could flash + ult + zhonya's their entire team. Tristana + the trifecta (IE, PD, LW) and QSS should have won them the game so much earlier. Also, that nexus rush was silly. If they had just gone for the inhib and then fought, they might have been able to win
I think the mono esports guys are just used to high elo solo queue where banter in all chat is probably pretty common. It was unlikely to be malice, just ignorance.
And even if it was wrong, it didn't even come close to warranting then raging at them in all caps and calling them retards.
Honestly, I think that little exchange may have put M5 on tilt a little bit.
Yeah, if you weren't supposed to say anything in all chat M5 should have either just ignored them or responded with "The rules say to not use all chat"
Personally I love it when the pros joke at each other in all chat (like in the Curse finals today, first match, at the start everyone from both teams was in mid lane at one point and they were joking how they should ARAM) so I think it's a silly rule. But M5s response was utterly inappropriate and unprofessional.
Why is it every time I want to play jungle twitch in blind pick everyone decides they want to play Teemo, Veigar, Kat, and Talon all on the same team with me?
blind pick is why
Yeah I started an alt for the referral thing one night and hated having to do blind pick again
I had some good luck with it today on my EU-W account. Our bot lane was fizz / teemo, which wasn't ideal, but it allowed me to clean up mid.
Which CDR blues do you want to get again? Flat or per level?
I say flat on all runes, actually. Runes matter a lot early on, but comparatively little relative to gear late game, so I say take the runes you need to definitively win your lane, get great CS, and then spend the extra thousands of gold you will have because of that to make up any shortcomings.
That brand build made me throw up in my mouth a little.
Thanks for the rune advice. I thought flats made more sense looking at them, but wanted to get the general consensus before dropping 1k ip on them. Think they're the last thing I need for my riven page.
And I've noticed how big runes are early game. I run brand AP quints, blues, and MPen reds with mana regen/5 yellows. I no longer need doran ring to sustain mana (an usually get blue) and my W's do a big chunk of damage at level 1. I f people start dorans against me theyre going to heal and losing the lane hard.
Just had a Yorick in game who repeatedly accused me of KSing running champs with Kog'maw. He had spent the entire laning phase bot with Miss Fortune and accusing her of stealing minion kills from him.
What is wrong with people?
Also, what is with smurfs and having the worst attitudes?
Summoner level 11. We had no jungler, it was yorick/MF bot, Fizz mid, me (Kog) and Garen top. By the end of the game all anyone could talk about was how terrible everyone else was. This has been my experience for the past three or four games, it's pretty miserable.
I picked mundo the other day to play support mundo for Caitlyn. Sitting in bushes hurling cleavers all laning. Turns out this dipshit yorick went bot so caitlyn went top and ugh it was awful. Like, he tower dived full health Ashe/Taric at level 3, and blamed his death on me. Came back, afk'd at the turret for a bit, then charged straight into melee with them again, despite the fact they were now both two levels above him.
He ruined my mundo mojo.

If the scaling breaks even at/before 6 OR you aren't going to use it till late game its OK to got for scaling.
E.G. Scaling MR blues are standard for top when they aren't expecting to go against someone with early magic damage because you wont be taking magic damage until they've outscaled the flats at level 11. And they do provide significant MR(25 or so at level 18)
CDR is also in an odd position because it is so easy to hit the cap for it. I would consider looking at the items you are likely to get and seeing how much CDR you get from them and how much you will get from your masteries to make sure you won't be wasting any.
So, in seeing the latest jungling changes in the new patch, I'm anticipating starting to jungle myself some AD Sion. Anyone have any experiences they'd like to share?
"How was your day?"
"Y'know, there are some days that are worth it, taking all the pies in the face. Sometimes you come out of it feeling pretty good. How was yours?"
"And there are other days where you just stand there, hip-deep in pie."
A champ may win a matchup but a bad player with the matchup advantage is still a bad player and will be more likely to lose. Mundo has the advantage of he generally builds HP and that's the way you curb Olaf's E.
Working my way to three digit elos one loss at a time. If it wasn't for the bot match I played the night before, my match history would be all losses. Go 12/2 as Viktor in ranked? Why that's a loss, of course.
I don't get it. According to that site that estimates ELO I'm 1200-1300 elo in BLIND pick normals, but in ranked I'm quickly falling to three digit elo.

Your team is probably playing champions that they know how to play, odds are the enemy talon and graves will feed.
Plus you have a guy willing to venture into the evil forest. Shit takes stones bro.
Edit: Wait nm thats you. You are probably boned then if you are the only person on your team willing to venture into the evil forest. Unless you are a bad enough dude to take on both stone brothers at once.

Yeah, he couldn't hit with an axe if his life depended on it.
Spoiler: it did.
Constantly poked him, hit 6, then ulted and ran up and brofisted him.

I need it now for this game!
poor mr. paradoxical : (
Classy gents.
not that m5 doesn't need a course in 'how to be a bigger man' since simply pointing that out would have made mono look worse and them look better
is this actually true
Ohh I cant wait to kill you over and over.

I mean, the quints are 15 AP alone.
best decision I've made in a while. I ended up with 25+ assists and an even K/D ratio in 2 back-to-back games. This may be my new thing...

Got me an awesome kill on a Shaco that flashed through a wall.
Shaco looks good with a cleaver in his back.
edit: and then solo top vs Olaf. I axed him questions.
I've never done Olaf vs. Mundo, but I've always believed Olaf would beat Mundo pretty handily.
Results coming after game!
