Flat CDR blues are great on a large number of supports since they tend to give you that early level boost when your CD's are highest and supports tend to be more CD dependent than other characters. CDR blues on Soraka all the way.
Certain supports should run scaling MR though.
Pfft, the manly thing to do is run Taric with 44 armor rune page with 0/30/0 and tank tower shots level one.
So apparently it didn't make it into this upcoming patch, but in the next one after it they're apparently increasing the hitbox on Leona's Zenith Blade a little bit so it matches the animation better.

Leona buffs? Omg yes, that will be awesome. There are so, so many times the sword grazes the person and nothing happens.
I stopped playing entirely on weekends over a month ago. But then I usually play between 10am-3pm so the quality drop associated with kids not being at school is quite noticeable to me.

I mostly play between 8am-10am, and then after I wake up and do stuff that needs doing, I play from Midnight-whenever.
The quality in between is part of the reason I play these hours.
I gotta say, watching all the pros do dirty, dirty things with Udyr renewed my interest in him and I'm now at the point where I feel as comfortable with Udyr as I do with Shyv in the jungle, which is saying a lot considering Shyv is one of the easiest jungles in the game.

I imagine it wouldn't apply to high level play but I've been doing okay countering ryze with lux. she outranges him like whoa, and if you go in to ignite the passive he can't put damage on you without risking a binding, and because her shield double dips it can block a fair amount of his damage
And another Supportalis win. I'm not sure if it's the Kog/Naut bottom combo that's doing it, or if I'm just having a good streak. 4/5/7 this time, actually went the distance this time instead of a surrender.
The ult is so great at dealing with Tryndamere, as I discovered. He's near dead and ulting, running away... wait a couple beats for his ult to almost wear off, and then fire! Pop his dumb ass into the air, and Kog finishes him off.

So I just got shit talked for almost a whole game for first picking Shen, and taking him top and not support, in ranked. I ended up doing ok, but my team was garbage/comp was bad.
Shen top, ap kog mid, xin jungle, ashe AD, and our last pick goes mordekeiser and tries to right over top. Now I should have went bot at this point, but I was like really? And seeing as how I don't trust anyone in solo que not to suck, said have fun supporting, pay attention next time.
Whole game ashe and kog are just going at it, blaming each other, blaming others, blaming me. They kept going on how you don't first pick Shen, and/or top. Had to face a lane wick. He never did much to me, I couldn't do much to him (although I didn't use my E enough in lane I think to make him miss CS /take dmg)

I agree with the bot thing. For whatever reason I had my panties in a bunch. Maybe it was because I was 4th pick the majority of the time I played ranked today and always said "I'll play whatever. I have these chars for these roles", the fact the one time I was capt with first pick I tried to make it so I could Shen (last ban enemy team. The game I didn't ban kass and picked brand I posted about), or the fact it was absurd to me. I mean by now even people just signing up should know Shen is a really good char right now and a very good top
(btw how should he do against LW? Lane was a draw except I lost a tower. )
At the game start I honestly thought mord was gonna mid against malz and we'd have support ashe AD Kog

I had some Poppy games like that. They were fun.
I don't know how many games, as say brand, I have a deathcap and Ryali's, and look to see if I need a void staff. I always go hourglass next, (although maybe a second DC would be better) cause nobody has MR. Everybody copy and pastes mobafire builds.
Even when I'm a fed graves, I look, yup only the tank has armor, If it's a part of his core build. I don't care if I'm the carry, come mid game, unless I'm greatly protected, I at least by a small armor item to counter who's fed/focusing me. Usually something that builds into GA, or hourglass.

GA is a good item, but I feel unless your team is greatly coordinated you're fucked when you get KO'd anyways, because you come back with all of 750hp
Works great on guys with tons of lifesteal or guys with benefits for being at low health. Think Trynd, Olaf, etc. Theoretically Karma, but it's rarely seen on her.

It's not underrated, probably a little underutilized. GA becomes progressively better and better as the game goes on because of increasing death timers. Having to kill somebody twice in a fight is a huge deal.

I like it with some characters/situations. It gives some MR/Armor/and hp (i believe) and is nice if they have people that can dive at you.
Take brand for example and why I like it if I need a defensive item (although hourglass is usually enough. Just an example). Team fight starts. I blow my wad, then get focused down. As brand
I do a lot of DMG up front, the have CD's. If I have a GA and somehow get focused I give no fucks and blow my wad. Die. Come back a few seconds later, which in a team fight is a lot of repositioning. My CD's are off so I can play safer while blowing my CD's.
As a carry, and I could be wrong, I like it as my one defensive item.

GA has a strong psychological affecf on some players too. I've found it often acfs as s global de-aggro. People see the swirl around you and know they will have to kill you twice to actually kill you, so often they will focus someone else. I swear, as a result in most games after I build a GA I never die again.

I think the only person I even semi-regularly get it on is Olaf (although I've mostly moved it out of my builds these days). Killing Olaf once is usually a bear. Him getting back up again and working that increased AS is so demoralizing.

You can go negative through Elo penalties from queue dodging.

There are a few people who have hit a negative ELO and then climbed back to 1600 or so as a pet project.
NEGATIVE? Wow, that's pretty insane. Is the ELO range at that point pretty wide though, as far as match making? Like are you in a game with teammates at 800 ELO, 950, 760, 880, whatever?

According to watching streams, you don't get games anywhere below the 500s. There just aren't enough active players down there.
