My hands quake as I type it!

You almost certainly know, but just in case, Jordan Mechner created Karateka and Prince of Persia, and is currently creating the remake of Karateka, which was just announced! He was telling interesting stories in games without the use of a single word thirty years ago; I can’t wait to hear what he has to say today.

    Yes, yes, yes, and YES.
    I will be in line for this keynote, for sure. Last year i skipped out and went to the expo hall right away, but this is too good to pass up.

    He published the journal he kept back in the Karateka / Prince of Persia / The Last Express days, which I really enjoyed reading. I'm very much looking forward to the keynote this year. Jordan Mechner hasn't been a very prolific developer, but man, the games he has released are absolute classics.

    I've only been to the last two PAX East's, but I have to say Wil's keynote is still my favorite and will be hard to top. I'm a little curious to see if Jordan Mechner talks about the design process he used making games over the years, though, so I'll likely try to be there for this.

    I will definitely be at this keynote. Mechner meant a lot to me when I was younger.

    I'm playing Karateka and the first two Prince of Persias now and the animation (for its time) is certainly wonderful. I'm excited for his keynote.

    I am definitely intrigued, I have yet to make it to a keynote unfortunately and have listened to them afterwards. I don't know a lot about him but based on what I've read should be worth hearing.
