PS3 loses connection when wifi-enabled laptop is used
I've Googled for solutions for this one but haven't found anything so far: when I'm playing on my PS3, which is connected to the router by Ethernet cable, and my girlfriend switches on her laptop, which connects to the router by wifi, the PS3 loses its connection to the internet frequently, although always just for a second, after which it connects again. The error I get is 80130504. This isn't a problem when I play offline games, but with Red Dead Redemption MP and with Demon's Souls it's a major hassle.
Does anyone know what I can do about this? I would've thought that since the PS3 is hooked up to the router by cable, other wifi-enabled hardware shouldn't be an issue. Any help would be much appreciated!

Yep. I was having this problem with an old router. Got a stable router and it works fine now.
The media server solution should solve some of the symptoms, but it wont fix it all the time.
